Dearest Kringers! Wishing you a very Merry KRINGMAS! CHEAT MODE GAMEPLAY revealed! For the occasion, I will reveal the way to unlock the CHEAT MODE GAMEPLAY and find Dev.Id, the black soul of the developer (that is, me)! Chorus: YAY! YAY! GREAT!!! So, do the following: - TYPE ASTROPUPPA: in the start menu, type (with the keyboard) the name of the most absurdly expensive game on Steam, that is ASTROPUPPA - TYPE “D”: After you type ASTROPUPPA, you will be able to summon Dev.Id. Press “D” on the keyboard to do so. - UNLOCKED! When Dev.Id appears, you will have unlocked the Cheat Mode Gameplay! - IN EVERY GAME TYPE “D”: you can call it in every game (except in the new version of Genesis and in BIODISSEA) to get information on the “local” cheat modes of the various games. - OTHER CHEAT MODES: after unlocking Dev.Id, still in the Start Menu, if you press “H” (and hold it down with your big finger) you will be shown a screen of additional Cheat Modes. BIODYSSEY Few, very few of you will have managed to access the BIODYSSEY game, which is unlocked only by finishing all 27 levels of Genesis (new version)! BIODYSSEY is the 4X that I am doing (in parallel to everything else), in which with your population of Krings you have to colonize an asteroid lost in space. By unlocking the CHEAT MODE GAMEPLAY, you can access it: - in the START MENU, move the pointer to the TOP RIGHT corner and press “N” to start a new game of BIODISSEA. Or, if you want the long way: - From the Start Menu, click the icon at the bottom right, but right at the bottom bottom right (3 serpentoids) - From there, click on the STAR WHEEL or ROTARY STAR at the bottom, quite far to the right - You will arrive at a particular version of the TURTLE ARK. Load as many Kring as you can and then go! MERRY KRINGMAS!!!
Here we go again!!! So, I've been working hard the last few weekends and every moment I could dedicate to Parasite Fighter / Kring! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/42892703/4256d370c46f42d26de6f27d9894247bf1988ee2.png Lots of new things! All for Parasite Fighter 1) I also added control via Pad controller. So now you can play it with mouse, keyboard or game pad! 2) I developed Progression well, which in practical terms means a sensible distribution of number of enemies, type and quantity of power-ups, and difficulty curve. Let me know what you think, to better balance the game! 3) I inserted particular objects, the DRONES, which if touched by the spaceship activate and do things, positive for us and very bad for the enemies. There are 4 of them, you can find them in particular from the second level onwards {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/42892703/6f9dc852fa8dfa3624faec96341fb0a40dfa4bea.png 4) I inserted the TIME FOR CARNAGE, so now there is a maximum time to eat all the parasites on the screen, which makes the matter much more "challenging". It still needs to be calibrated well, but it already forces you to get busy biting and biting as much as you can! 5) I added artificial intelligence (big word!) to the enemies, which therefore now move in a much more varied way than before, from wave to wave. 6) I added animations for the enemies, which now move with greater variety. Furthermore, I had included multilingual support, which also worked, but due to a (apparently known) Game Maker problem in displaying particular characters (for German and Spanish), I had to remove it. If I understand how to solve it (for now without success) I will re-implement it, otherwise the game will remain only ITA-ENG. Next discount for Kring expected just after Christmas. CIAOOOOOOOOO
Here we go again! I finally managed to complete the CARNAGE version, that is, the phase of the game in which with our spaceship we can SLAUGH enemies, peeling off pieces of their alien flesh, stripping their skeleton bare, devouring and destroying them! In this video, if you have the will to go all the way through, you will also see the first of the boss-battles with the PARASITE MOTHER! - - - Also, other new features: - system to keep some of the powerups obtained even after you die (and trust me, you will die!). You will see fangs on either side of the powerups in the lower left corner. Click on them to choose the powerups to 'lock,' that is, the ones you will find active again once you die and re-spawn. But beware, you can only 'block' two of them, so you must choose which ones. Give priority to speed and maneuverability? Or to armament? Or to the shield? To select which powerup to keep, you can also press F1-F2-F3-F4-F5. - fadein effect with fangs between game cover and actual game. - during CARNAGE, enemies if you get too close to them (which you have to do, if you want to maul them) run away! Finally, I've added something a little strange, which is a warning in the OPTIONS and Kring's MAIN MENU warning of the great dangers of activating the old version of GENESIS. Because, yes, there is still somewhere a bug-crash that manifests itself in inexplicable ways that I really can't pinpoint in the little time I can devote to it. So, if you play the old version of GENESIS, be aware of this! HAVE FUN!
