I really like the concept of helping different reptiles recover and finding them a new home etc. It's a cute and simple game.
There's some fundamental problems with this game though.
1) The game gets a lot wrong about reptiles. Food is one example, not all reptiles eat Watermelon and radishes. There's a ton of different reptiles you can adopt in this game and no variety in what you can feed them. Reptiles also have varying care requirements. (Temperatures, special lighting, vitamins, humidity, space, places to hide and climb, etc.) If the game took these into account it would provide a lot more gameplay value. You could do research on the computer in the office before adopting a new reptile species, and set up the tank in advance. each reptile would be a little different.
2) The gameplay loop consists of adopting a reptile, providing it with food, medicine, and a clean tank, and then releasing it right outside your front door. The game should have some sort of system for adopting out the animals or returning them to their natural habitat at least. You can't just ask me to toss exotic animals on the doorstep and hope for the best after you make me do the work of rehabilitating them. The camera should be used to post an ad about the animal up for adoption perhaps.
3) What are the reptiles rehabilitating from? It's not clear. Reptiles can suffer from a lot of health issues, show me whats wrong with them and how best to treat it! Did this gecko have a bad shed? Let's mist him with some warm water and possibly some shed aid. Does this snake have scale rot? Make me soak him in some diluted iodine. Give us something to do with the medical supplies instead of just ticking a box please.
There's a couple other goofy issues like camera running away from the player when you're trying to walk outside or the game crashing on going back to the menu but I don't think tose are the biggest issues. Right now I don't think there's enough gameplay to make this worthwhile, but it has a very cute artstyle and a wholesome and fun concept. With a bit more work this could be an excellent game.

Not a good game to be honest.
It gets repetitive quick and I often found myself bored out of my mind.
The gameplay consist of random pop-ups, you grabbing whatever item is needed to get rid of the pop up, return to the main room and place the item back down, then wait for the next pop-up to come around.
It does look good if you're into adorable games. But the gameplay itself is just extremely lacking.
There's not really a story or anything, you just earn money and points to adopt more animals and buy upgrades and then do that over and over again. Not even the bought upgrades feel rewarding since they feel like they barely make a difference to begin with. At one point you even unlock a bot that helps you with your chores, however the bot sometimes ends up feeding empty enclosures and the like and each time he does actually do one of your chores properly, you wish he didn't because it was the only thing other than standing around idly you could have done.
Big nope from me. Can't recommend it.

I think just because I've always been obsessed with reptiles (and there aren't many reptile games out there) I do love this game. it does have its issues though..
Cons:
- the main character looks VERY uncanny... and there aren't many options to customize (ex. the skin tone options are just light brown and medium brown.. and I'm pale as all hell)
- the character's movements are SO SLOW, there is technically a sprint button but it only works half of the time and still isn't fast. also, you only ever have to move left and right since it's a point-and-click game.
- obviously, there's the inaccuracy for reptiles (like feeding snakes watermelon) but it doesn't bug me too much.
I wish there was more variety in the reptiles. ex. crested geckos and leopard geckos have the same middle just different colors..)
- it can defiantly be tedious walking back and forth.. this feels more like a mobile game. but if they add a bit more story, interactive parts, rooms, reptiles, and customization. I feel like it would be a lot better.
Pros:
- REPTILES! even though there's not that much variety, they still have a decent selection! Frogs, chameleons, geckos, beardies, tortoises, iguanas, snakes, caiman, etc)
-(minus the main character) The background and reptiles are adorable. it's a very pleasing color pallet and art style!
- Honestly, it's just a relaxing game because not a lot goes on, it's a game where you don't have to think much and autopilot takes over, just caring for cute reptile babies
- It is satisfying finally having them be released to the wild, you feel like you've accomplished something
Tips:
- I think having more things to do/customization
- Like a garden where you can grow the food for plant-eating reptiles, or a breeding rat rack for the snakes/ bug rack. so you have to get the specific food for the reptiles.
-maybe a room where you can keep some of the reptiles? I know its a rehabilitation, but most exotic vets and rehabilitation I've been to have a few permanent reptiles in the main lobby (I know there's the cat in the final room, but you can't interact with it at all)
- speaking of the last room, others this lab section with test tubes?? you get no instructions on how to use them, and when you click on it nothing happens. so I'm curious about what it does
- there's a task where you take a photo of a reptile, it would be cool to see the end result of those photos, or have a corkboard you can pin them on as achievements/memories
In general, I love the game, I just wish there were more updates/options. I look forward to future updates and gameplay!!
