Scripted Land tasks you with coding Lua scripts to automate your territory's economy and military operations across a hex grid. You'll manage resource production, outfit and direct adventurers through custom NPC behaviors, and defend against demon invasions while expanding into dungeons. It's part town-builder, part programming sandbox, designed for players who want hands-on control over their units' actions without predefined classes or roles.

If you're looking for a cute niche game with original script mechanics, you've come to the right place with this nifty game ໒(⊙ᴗ⊙)७✎▤ It is a neat Town management with Scripting anything yourserlf, defending against evil Demon Lords Army and invading Dungeons like in your typical Isekai's. +++ Script learn instructions +++ Step-by-step approach to complicated coding +++ simple and intuitive +++ incredibly cute artstyle and hidden humor +++ very fast communication to the developer in case of bugs
--- still a bit unfinished --- very limited extent of content --- you still have to manually delete the broken scripted chapters to start over because of your own critical errors
It already has some game content in terms of items and game mechanics. However, the game so far consists mainly of the tutorial, which already offers a challenge. (ง'̀-'́)ง I'm really looking forward to modding implementation and further story progression.
Reasons why you should buy this game: -You can create scripts with lua and apply them as you are playing. -"Edicts" dictate what an NPC equips and does, so while there are default scripts to help you start the game, there are no defined units per say, it's up to the player to define the unit's behaviour. -You have the option to use the in-game code editor or you can use Visual Studio Code with your favourite extensions and settings. -Scripts are distributed into numerous libraries in the games folder, you can access them while you're playing with windows explorer even though the game's interface isn't completely polished. -Despite the cute graphics, lua is a programming language used by people who have degrees in software engineering, so it is difficult, it doesn't hold your hand or tell you a clear answer to what everything does in a traditional way. Instead you will have to read the documentation in the game as well as outside the game. -ACADEMIA! -The pixelized boardgame-like hexgrid!! Omg loogaa dem cutey skellettys!! -Would make my brain implode infinitely if it has mod support and people could import their own sprites!! --Basically Settlers/Banished but you can program the units!!
