Coinflip Prison strips down the coin-flipping clicker to its essentials: tap repeatedly to accumulate currency through repeated flips. Unlike similar games in the niche, it rewards player skill and timing, letting attentive players progress faster than those simply mashing buttons, which lends the repetitive loop genuine strategic depth.

Coinflip prison is another take on the 'coin flipping' style genre, such as unfair flips and other games in this sub-genre of a sub-genre!

Where this game differs a lot from the others in this category though is that it is actually skill dependant to some extent so you can actually progress faster if you know what you're doing. I think this goes a long way toward making the game more interesting rather than it being purely luck based.

Pros:

- It is very easy to understand the core ideas of what you're supposed to do and how you're supposed to do it. There is a selection of nice music tracks and coin skins you can pick from to make your run a little more individual

- The skill based nature of the game makes it much more satisfying from my point of view compared to other games in this sub-genre.

- The intermittent dialogue while flipping is interesting if you take the time to read it and breaks up the flipping a little bit, building some element of interest into what is happening in the story.

Cons:

- The game is quite short, only a couple of hours but this is a minor problem considering the price point.

- The graphical style definitely won't be for everyone, I happen to like the sharpness of everything and how it looks but it won't suit all tastes.

- The game has a few small bugs visually which highlight a lack of complete polish, these will likely be fixed over time and didn't stop me enjoying myself, just worth mentioning.

Overall, I think the game doesn't overstay the welcome, knows exactly what it is and does what it sets out to do.
