A pixel-art idle game set on a monster-infested continent where you accumulate resources and face regenerating beasts. The core loop combines passive resource generation with optional clicking, though progression suffers from uneven pacing—some upgrades unlock quickly through achievements while others depend on real-time gates. Best suited for players patient with early-access rough edges who want a low-commitment monster-hunting idle experience.
About this game
"I Heard There Are Monsters Here" is a pixel , idle game. The monsters from the beast Land can never be killed forever. At the same time, the Land has countless minerals and wealth. Only when you have courage and wisdom at the same time, can you survive on the beast continent.

The idea seems fun, but it isn't fully there.
Progression on some things is super quick, due to giving gold rewards for achievements. And for some things progression is super slow in contrast as they are tied to real time. This made me quit after just a real short time.
And not even to start about the game having achievements which are literally tied to spending 15 USD/ EUR on in-game items. So if you are an achievement hunter you should just skip this game completely. If they had the possibility to gain some premium currency to unlock these items in game it would change my view a bit, but still.
In my opinion a lot of changes have to be made to make this game fun/ playable.
It is broken for a lot of people, but it is working fine for me. It's free, so see if it works for you. Its basically an idle game with some optional clicker element.
