Great game! It's like a computer-themed idle clicker, and it's got a great balance so you can invest in idle playing or active clicking, I appreciate the fact that active clicking is fairly buffed so it's not entirely pointless in this game like in some other clickers like this. Seems to have a lot of room to grow as well, with the command prompt thing and endless computer/networking gadgets you could throw into a game like this, but still not perfect as you might expect from an E.A. game, but it's definitely playable right now and is pretty great. Just need achievements and Steam Cloud soon!

There's no offline progress yet, it would be pretty helpful here (especially since the max bytes is capped to the current upgraded size anyway) and some multiplayer/networking/leaderboard would be pretty sweet too.

Not sure why you'd play this over any other idle game. I understand I didn't play for very long but the game failed to hold my attention. I didn't really feel like I was progressing and never reached any milestone.

Pretty low quality game overall. It's free, but time is money, don't waste yours here.

Auto Saving

In this update I added Auto saving so the game automatically saves every 20 seconds however there is no indication of the save. The game will continue to still try to save when the game is closed. The game is still available for download through itch.io for MacOS users as steam requires the game to be signed for MacOS.

Lu[Idle] is Becoming Free to Play

Lu was originally a project for a class I was taking, and I continued working on it after the class was over and as I have thought more about Lu I have realized it makes more sense for Lu to be a Free game. As I reflect on the quality of Lu I don't see a super polished game that deserves to be paid for, I see a passion project that should be available for everyone to try out and play. I will still be working on updates for Lu. I just won't be working on it as much as I have previously. I still have a vision for what I want Lu to become, it just won't come as soon as I thought it would when I started working on this game. That being said Lu will hopefully be free to play by November 17th 23rd, but it could very well take longer as it's not just a setting I turn on for the game, it's an application process that Steam has to look into. For people that have already purchased the game I thank you for buying it and supporting me, and if you are disappointed, I am sorry. With more people in the Lu community hopefully more people will be hoping for updates and therefor I might be more motivated to actually work on Lu. I do want to say that I can't guarantee Lu stays free forever because I might choose to make it paid again when it fully releases. I'll see.

If you have tested out Lu for Linux and you have any problems please let me know immediately either via Email at jsherrard25@gmail.com or more preferably on discord. To join the discord click this link https://discord.gg/ZFBx6YJB I would love any input on how Linux works with Lu as I am unable to test it.
