I stumbled across this game on it's launch day and I love it. The devs are really nice and are quick to fix bugs, they seem eager to listen to feedback too. The game progression is pretty slow but I love keeping it open while I work on other things and then I can just tab back in and farm for a little bit. Also if you leave it running for a while random events pop up and give you xp or coins or even animals and seeds. I haven't unlocked everything yet but I know there are several other mechanics in the game that I haven't gotten to explore yet, like brewing, which I am excited for. If you like farming games and don't mind a little wait time, then you should totally check out this game, it's relaxing and fun and awesome.
What players are saying
"Farmburgh" is a bare bones basic asset flip looking "I can't believe it's not a mobile app" farm tycoon game. Drag and drop a lot of what look like stock tiles/animal assets etc and tap away at your screen pretending you're playing Farmville or something, I don't know. If this is the kind of game you really want to play, just go buy Stardew Valley, it's not that expensive. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Possibly... the problem is, even if this isn't an asset flip, it's indistinguishable in quality from one, and that's where the real problem is. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $4 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 12 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
just what i have played so far i feel the game has alot of potential, great graphics, farmville vibes and well worth every penny. if you loved those old school farming vibes then this game is definately for you
