Arrange hex-tile components within gadgets to generate Research and Focus points, then spend those resources on upgrades and story progression in this idle loop. The core challenge involves optimizing your gadget configuration to break through difficulty plateaus and unlock new building options. Best suited for players who enjoy tinkering with systems and don't mind grinding when progression slows.

This is a creative casual idle game that ties into the lore of the previous arcade-style game Gimmick in the Chaos Dimension. It feels a little rough around the edges but I enjoyed taking a couple hours to explore and figure things out.
Basically, you have to configure components in a gadget to generate research points. Then you alternate between using those points to buy component upgrades for a gadget and re-configuring with crystals to attain the level of focus production to buy the separate focus unlocks.
When you are able to get enough research components going simultaneously at a high enough level, you can use the research button to unlock another gadget. Eventually you can have many going at the same time and strategically optimize their layouts to push for your next goal.
The gameplay was pretty active until after I unlocked the fourth gadget, when it seems to slow down and become more of an idle game requiring you to wait for hours to accumulate research points before you can get all of the upgrades you need. It introduces new mechanics as you progress.
I also bought the skins DLC to support the developer and found a favorite style I like.
gets up to the 4th gadget and suddenly there is a large brick wall there for you to stop and stare at until you either gain enough RP to optimize upgrading the FP storage to be 4k or stop playing (i chose the latter)
