Feudal Fantasy tasks you with reconstructing a ruined town through building management and racial recruitment. The progression-focused design delivers a complete campaign in a handful of hours without requiring paid upgrades or endless grinding, making it accessible to both incremental veterans and newcomers seeking a contained experience rather than an open-ended time sink.

It's cute, it's got some decent basic mechanics, but it's bloody short. 4 hours to finish it.
My reaction is kind of the opposite from others. It's nice to have an idle game that actually is beatable in a reasonable time for once. The game's not crazy deep, but the vast majority of all idle games are around exactly as deep as this one. The big difference here is that I don't have to pay to progress at a decent rate and also I don't have to play the game 80 hours to reach... nothing of significance.
Idle games have been stagnant for ages now with 4-5 hours of gameplay being spread thin over the course of hundreds of hours with the goal of squeezing every penny out of you for the privilege of progressing at a decent rate, so having a $1.49 experience that actually gives you everything most other idlers do at 10-20x the speed with no pennypinching is a breath of fresh air.
If anything, I think people accidentally realized that they just hate the current average idle game.
