One of those times where you wish for a "mid" review option. It's tough to criticize an early access release but this game is ... early, early access. The UI is rough, the game progression is confusing, my save file was lost, and it's overall just not fun yet. There's room for improvement but ... it may take a while to get there. As of the current state, I can't recommend it.
The Game is a little slow in the beginning but moves quite well for an idler. The solo Dev responds well to concerns & is consistent in communication. Give this a try
After 140 hours I finally completed everything in Idle Life and I had a really good time with it. The best part is that it never really gets boring. There’s always something new to unlock or work towards, and even after a long time the game keeps introducing new items and updates.
You can tell the developer is actively working on it, which makes it feel alive and worth coming back to. Only small downside: there could be more workers, especially for late game. Overall really enjoyable and easy to sink a lot of hours into.
