PolyPine is a forest ecosystem simulator where you plant seeds, nurture wildlife, and trigger animal actions through clicking to build a self-sustaining habitat. The game offers both active gameplay and idle automation via an evolution tree, letting you make most systems automatic as your forest expands. It appeals to players seeking relaxing, knowledge-rich simulation with educational details about ecological relationships, though current performance issues may limit extended play sessions on larger maps.
About this game
A forest simulator where you grow trees and create habitats for animals, plants and insects. Click on animals to make them poop, hunt, dig, cut and twerk! Start with a few basic seeds and attempt to grow a thriving ecosystem.

Its clear the DEV did not play test their own creation. Typical of AAA devs, not indie
its fun for minutes. if the devs put more work into this. would be a SOLID thumbs up (but it seems like they are just going straight cash grab)
this game is NOT optimized. it cant handle a 30-40 min game. Results in freezing, stuttering, crashing
Unfortunately the FPS issues with the game make it very hard to play any endgame. I even attempted to not expand the forest but the FPS issues continue after you get bears and eagles out. I abandoned all my campaign maps to do achievements in free-play mode. Look forward to having a large forest someday and I can swap to a positive review :~)
Relaxing forest simulator that is simple and complex at the same time with realistic ecosystem and so much information about animals , trees and plants and their relation with each other , +It has auto clicker which you can get after the first campaign mission on the evolution tree +very nice music +nice and sharp visuals +low demand on your PC +you can make everything automatic and play like Idler +passion project This is a true gem.
Hi everyone!I’m very excited to announce the new game I'm currently working on: Polyzonia. It's a new ecosystem simulation game set in the Amazon rainforest!Polyzonia takes the ideas behind PolyPine into a much larger and more varied world. It will feature more species, deeper ecological relationships, larger ecosystems, a longer campaign, and around twice as much content as PolyPine. Why isn’t it a DLC for PolyPine?Polyzonia became too large to make sense as an expansion. Its planned scope is around twice that of PolyPine, and creating it required me to build an entirely new game engine under the hood. This new engine is designed for more complex ecosystem simulations and gives me much more freedom to expand the number of species, environments, and interactions. Although Polyzonia builds on the ideas behind PolyPine, it is a full new game rather than an additional biome. What’s new?Polyzonia takes you across five distinct Amazon environments:Towering terra firma forestsSeasonally flooded whitewater forestsDark blackwater channelsCoastal mangrovesAndean cloud forestsEach environment introduces its own species, conditions, and ecological relationships. Fish gather beneath fruiting trees in flooded forests. Electric eels hunt in blackwater. Mangrove roots shelter young animals. Cloud-forest birds perform courtship dances. The relationships between species will also be more intricate, creating richer food webs and mutual dependencies throughout the rainforest. There is also full lifecycle simulation of all species! Baby capybaras follow their mothers, sloth and monkey babies cling to their mother's back, and a lot more cute interactions. You can watch the announcement trailer and wishlist Polyzonia on Steam here:I can’t wait to share more content in the upcoming months!Cheers,Anton
Hi Everyone,The Steam Awards are currently accepting nominations. I think PolyPine is a great candidate for the "Sit Back and Relax" category, so please nominate us!The number one feedback I've received from players is that the game is very relaxing and perfect for unwinding after a long day. I've even seen a streamer fall asleep while playing the game 😂. That's perhaps not the desired outcome of playing the game but I take it as a compliment! Thanks,Anton
Hi everyone!I'm happy to announce that the mobile version of PolyPine is now available. Plus, there's currently a steep discount on Steam! The mobile version is available on both iOS and Android. iOS Android PolyPine has always had mobile in mind during development. In fact, the first prototype of PolyPine was developed for my iPad. A tablet is probably the best form factor to enjoy PolyPine. The pinch to zoom and swipe to pan simply feels great, and the crisp 2D graphics makes it easy to get an overview of everything even on small screens. The first three levels of the campaign are available for free in the mobile version, and you can unlock the full game with a single in-app purchase. There are no ads in the game or other shenanigans.I hope you'll enjoy it!Best,Anton
