TELETEXT

Media
Teletext is a point-and-click adventure that recreates browsing a 1995 television teletext system, where missing articles and scrambled content hint at a deeper mystery. You navigate fragmented pages and solve environmental puzzles to uncover what happened, though the logic behind some solutions can feel obscure. It appeals to players drawn to nostalgic, narrative-driven experiences and puzzle enthusiasts willing to experiment, though those expecting straightforward puzzle design may find the cryptic approach frustrating.
About this game
Welcome back to 1995. You turn your TV on, but there's an ad break! You press the red button to check out your favorite passtime. As you browse through, you see there's a lot missing. News articles not displaying, games out of order. Is anyone even keeping this updated anymore? Where did they go?
What players are saying
The puzzles seemed pretty unintuitive and the answers were rather random, imho. IThe hint/suggestion system needs improvement, I felt like suggestions made the solutions too obvious so essentially making the hints useless. Considering using more than 3 hints disables achievements, I would replace hints with (reveal solution) you can use 3 times during the game. The current hints can be merged into suggestions.
Great theme though and in the end it's a cheap indie game. Get it on sale if you are unsure.
