Fun little sandbox. Not too complex, and has some fun things to play around with. Some things could use some work, especially animal AI. There's some typos, but everything's understandable.

Right now, the best way to support many species seems to be themed islands, which is kinda boring. I wanna build an ecosystem, not a zoo. :P

Overall, the game had me entertained for a good few hours. I had it run in the background like a desktop pet to look after every once in a while.

Some things were a bit annoying, nothing too bad though. Skip if you don't wanna know what's in the game.
One or two species will overtake everything else. Food chains are barely a thing. Larger plants almost always kill smaller plants and faster growing ones kill off things of similar size. In forests, you constantly have to replant food or create little clearings of thin soil where only the food plants can grow. Even without trees, berries have a tendency to kill herbs and flowers, turning berries into the only food source. And with almost everything eating berries, the quicker breeding animals drive everything else to extinction. Only animals that do not share a food source may coexist and only if those food sources do not compete with one another. Some animals also don't even attempt to stick to a favorable environment and don't seek out what they need.

I've had the most trouble with toads, which seem to have a very small range in which they recognize the water and grass they need. But instead of sticking to the edges where there is grass and water, they decide to embark on an epic adventure... that lasts about 20 pixels before they die from dehydration, hunger or the sheer misery that is life.

Turtles like to wander across the whole map, but don't even attempt to stick together and eventually die in a slightly too large stretch of dry land or an ocean, without ever having bred.

Ducks are absolutely terrible at migrating. A slightly too large lake or a dry forest will take them out. They are too slow to cross a biome large enough to support a population of anything and would rather starve in the air than swoop down to touch some grass when hungry. Must be terribly short-sighted birds.

Pandas, surprisingly, breed like nobodies business. No complains there. My bamboo island looks like someone got mad at chess.

Something nice though is that there are some food chains that might be great with a little more work. Fish get eaten by jellyfish, which cannot follow the fish into shallower water, keeping a base population save. And turtles eat jellyfish, which kinda breed like a plague. If turtles were to actually stick around when they encounter this infinite food glitch, that would be a really cool little system.
