BRISK UP is a box-destruction arcade game where you race to demolish obstacles before they vanish from the screen, progressing through increasingly difficult stages with power-ups. The core appeal lies in its fast-paced, cathartic gameplay and completion-focused design, though player reports suggest achievement tracking issues may frustrate completionists seeking 100% progress.

Finally got the achievements for getting all the various power ups.
Wait...I didn't get the ones for 50% complete or 100% complete. Shouldn't I have gotten them when I got all the others? Are they broken? It took 2.1 hours to find out they may be broken. No refund possible.
Oh well. Not recommended.
EDIT 8/22/'24 0700 The icon generated when you install the game doesn't work. The warning message says that the .exe file is missing. Steam\steamapps\common\BRIISK UP\BRIISK UP.exe Spelling of brisk might be a problem. Until spelling matches: Go to Steam/steamapps/common/BRIISK UP/Brisk Up.exe . Right click on Brisk Up.exe. Go to Send to and select Desktop (create shortcut) from the drop down menu. The icon generated will work to launch game.
The Game. I have over 10 hours of play time. Just a few minutes under 8 hours was me just killing time and trying to figure out why I didn't get the 50% and 100% completed achievements when I had all the other achievements.
Those 2 achievements should at least say that they are timed achievements and clearly state how long you have to play to get them. Neither is the case.
The game was OK for the first 30 minutes or so. In that 30 minutes it gets progressively easier as you get the power-ups. It's absolutely easy-peasy after the first hour. Zero challenge after all the power-ups acquired but kind of fun just destroying the falling boxes. The music isn't bad. Reminded me of DOOM's music.
BUT...it only took me 2.1 hours, according to Steam, to get all the power-up achievements. 8 more hours after that wasn't enough for 50% completion? F that noise. 10 hours should have been more than enough, imo, to get the 100% achievement. The excessive time for the timed achievements just punishes the player.
----- Game Version 1.1 ----- Major Changes: The time taken to complete the game is significantly reduced. The Steam Achievements linked to the completion of the game are updated too. Note: The achievements "You are a Level Rusher" and "YOU ACHIEVED 100% COMPLETION OF THE GAME" are linked to the time that is spent by the player on the game. Minor Changes: The Cursor Color is changed to make it contrast differently with the different backgrounds that is shown in all of the levels in the game.
My game BRISK UP has been near to it's completion. I've released a new version and I need some community feedback on my game before releasing the full game. I'll be releasing a full demo that will be free to play for everyone in order to get suggestions and feedback.
