On Track pairs a peaceful productivity timer with a gentle lo-fi aesthetic, letting you check off tasks while watching a stylized landscape drift past your window. It's a straightforward combo of focus sessions and to-do list management designed for people who want their work routine wrapped in calm rather than gamified urgency. Best suited for those seeking minimal distraction and ambient motivation over feature-rich productivity apps.
About this game
On Track is a cozy productivity tracker to help you rejuvenate, relax, and focus on tasks you want to accomplish. Watch a lush landscape roll by as you watch from your cozy train seat. Set a timer to focus, manage a todo list with all your goals, and relax as you stay on track.

Love the premise and style but right now it's way too limited to recommend it.
What's great: You can set up a time limit and individual tasks (or cross them off) to keep track of what you need to do and being able to shift between day & night is a nice feature.
However: -even the highest speed setting of the train is way too slow to be realistic (you can't watch the trees pass by quickly while the distant hills and landscapes slowly fade and shift) -no weather at all. many people find rain really relaxing, especially when it platters against the window - none of that here -the ambience settings are super limited and the chatter of people doesn't sound like it comes from people in your train carriage at all. it sounds muffled, as if people were talking in the living room. there also is no way to enable occasional chatter of people, either there is constant talking or none at all. no train announcements via the com either -the train doesn't stop in train stations, it's just constantly on the track and while it does slow down sometimes which is quite neat and realistic, that's basically it. you can't change the landscape or setting either, there is a single one and that's it.
I will watch the further development of this closely and I'll be happy to change my review once more features have been implemented that truly warrant you opening this application over just playing one of the many available train youtube vids out there.
Does exactly what it says on the tin - relaxing, white noise with a task tracker. Simple enough to use without being bloated by distracting features.
ONE CRITICISM: There's nothing in the UI to change resolution or even switch to windowed mode. You can't resize the screen, and I'm not sure how many users know they can switch to windowed mode with alt+enter. But for productivity software, it needs an easy way to push it to the background.
Calm, relaxing, without any fluff. Adorable timer :)
Some QOL improvements I would like to see in future updates: - When editing your to-do list, be able to press 'enter' after entering a task and being able to immediately continue typing on the next line. This would make it a lot quicker to add to-do list items and eliminate all those clicks (I have a lot of things to do!) - A button to hide the HUD - Pomodoro timer functionality: 25 mins work, 5 minute break (train stops during break? :D ). Perhaps be able to set how many cycles you'd like to do. Train whistle to tell when it's break time or when it's time to hop back on board.

Hey everyone, Just pushing a minor hotfix to a few errors we needed to fix on the backend. We also enabled the stats screen in the main menu under settings. Right now it's just tracking how many hours/minutes you've worked but for those of you who are reporting issues with the 80 hours achievement please let us know Changes Fixed some minor backend errors Added stats menu to main menu under settings, currently only tracking time worked in hours/minutes. Removed borderless until more permanent fix can be found for issues reported. If you have any further issues please post in the Steam forums or join the discord. Until next time, take care!
