Greetings, adventurers! It is time for our once-every-two-months devlog again! These past two months have mainly been about preparing for the Early Access version. I thought it would be easy to summarize the updates, but when I looked back, I realized that several major systems had been connected during this period. So, let us take a look at what has been added over the past two months! The Grand Codex and Goddess's Blessing {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45259339/1625992bd76f46c9079df6a5b10cdf51bd1501b3.png First, let us talk about the two most important long-term progression systems from the past two months: The Grand Codex and Goddess's Blessing. Items found during adventures are no longer only for equipping, using, or selling. They can now also be registered in The Grand Codex. After registering items, players can obtain Sands of Time. Sands of Time can then be used to activate Goddess's Blessing. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45259339/4f7166db15b343e712a8afa60ab4017e40439a99.png Goddess's Blessing is a long-term enhancement system tied to Chronoshift. Once activated, these blessings will not disappear when a single adventure ends. In other words, even when one timeline reaches its end, players can begin the next adventure with the blessings they have already activated. This is one of the key progression loops in Deadline Savior: Collect items and register them in The Grand Codex. Gain Sands of Time and activate blessings. Greetings, adventurers!It’s time for our bimonthly devlog update!Over the past two months, we’ve been hard at work preparing for the upcoming Steam Next Fest. This included numerous quality-of-life adjustments and bug fixes. While there are fewer "brand new" features this time, the ones we have are game-changers. Let’s dive in!Town Portal ScrollsWe’ve all been there: your backpack is overflowing, or your hunger meter is hitting zero in the middle of a dungeon. In the full version, we are introducing Town Portal Scrolls. These allow you to return to the previous town to restock and resupply. Once you’ve healed up and grabbed a meal at the tavern, you can teleport right back to where you left off!Private StorageStorage chests are finally available in towns! While expanding your storage capacity still costs a bit of gold, it’s much more affordable than upgrading your backpack.Best of all, you can access the same storage space from any town! Magic truly is convenient, isn't it? Combined with Town Portal Scrolls, inventory management will be a breeze.New "Focused Actions"Beyond the "Exploration Mode" you’ve already experienced, we’ve added more Focused Actions for you to choose from:Hunt & Gather: Low on food? Stay put and forage to slowly recover your hunger.Patrol: Want to grind for XP? Engage in a local patrol to gain experience points without moving further. Thank you all for your incredible support.Here’s a breakdown of our development progress from the last two months:Focus & Task RewardsWe heard your calls for "direct rewards for focusing"!We are adding a "Focus Reward Panel" to the right side of the screen.By reaching specific focus durations and archiving enough tasks, you can claim reward items here.Rumor has it there are even rare "Skill Points" and "Diamond Chests" waiting for you!"Won the Fight but Wasted an Item" OptimizationWe've addressed the frustration of using items unnecessarily after an enemy is already defeated.In future battles, if all enemies are wiped out, subsequent items will no longer trigger.(Of course, if skipping an item would result in your character dying from over-time damage like poison, the item will still be used to save you—so it’s never a waste!)This was technically challenging because victory checks happen at the end of a turn. We built a predictive model to judge whether an item is truly necessary to survive. This optimization is complete and will be included in the next major Demo update!Work Style Diagnostic ReportThis is the highlight of this update!The game will now perform a deep analysis based on your play history and focus stages to determine your "Fantasy Class."It’s a bit like a personality test—very fun to see!You can also view your statistical data across different cycles in this interface.This feature is also scheduled to be available in the next Demo version update.Our Next Big MilestoneWe plan to update the Demo mid-year and announce our release window.
