Go Up strips idle gaming down to its philosophical core: you ascend through darkness by clicking and discovering hidden minigames, but progression hinges on the prestige-style choice to descend and reset with permanent upgrades. A skill tree shapes each run's playstyle, making replays feel meaningfully different rather than repetitive. Its minimalist aesthetic and genuine design innovation will appeal to players tired of derivative clickers.

Really interesting take on a Cookie Clicker style game. Absolutely love the art style. Looking forward to seeing more.
Surely my favorite take on the "idle game" that I've played to date. The skill tree makes it super interesting and the mechanics of returning to the bottom after you spend points/ascend is interesting. It makes it an actual interesting choice to either keep "going up" or to ascend and start over but more powerful/faster.
Supported heavily by a caring dev team as well. For $4.99 you can't go wrong.
If you are a cultured idle and incremental game enjoyer like ourselves, we highly recommend checking out our good friend Mechabit's games on steam. Not only are they a super helpful person in general but also a very talented developer, and we are lucky enough to be able to bundle "Go Up" with one of Mechabit's games "Desktop Colony"! If you like blowing stuff up and cracking open Asteroids "Desktop Colony" is the game for you! Bundle up buttercup!
The full game is out now, and we thank everyone who supported us and played our game. While this is the final planned release we will be keeping an eye out for bugs and chances to add content in the following years. As always any feedback is still appreciated as future updates are never out of the question. Noble Whale's bread and butter has thus far been in making plugins for game creators. Go Up was a huge learning experience for us, and while we are proud of our game we do plan to get back into making plugins for a while. We do have ambitions to make another game in the future, so follow Noble Whale on instagram, bluesky, and discord to stay up to date on what we are working on and we'll see all of you down the road for the next one!
Demo Update!Go Up has grown so much at this point that we've decided to unlock the entire first ascension in the demo, totally free to play, right now. Give it a try! And keep an eye out for the imminent full release.Prerelease JuicingSounds, music, visual effects, cursor effects, and more! We've been hard at work making Go Up as much of an audiovisual spectacle as it can be in the final months before release. We think we've landed on some good final mechanics to close the massive game loop, so as we put all the final pieces into place we've also been doing a ton of testing and juicing to everything that has been in place a while.
