I've played a few Cotton games. The cartoons are cute and endearing. They deserve credit for the variety of puzzles, which range from easy to obscure. This particular game leans more towards the obscure. For one example, the binary numbers puzzle was just absurd. I thought there would be an "aha" moment after watching the walkthrough (which seems to contain some brute-force solves). No. Just annoyance. These puzzles are clearly meant to be clever and complex, but they come across as idiosyncratic, disorganized or unfinished. For awhile, I was watching the walkthroughs to get beyond the un-playable parts. At this point, I have uninstalled the game. It isn't fun enough to justify the time. Some of the story language reminds me of what AI would generate, but it is consistent with the Cotton style. I hope the developer spends more time on the next game before launching.

I really like Cotton Game, and this one didn't disappoint. Just be prepared for solutions that are out of box and may require guessing through your inventory.
