As a HUGE fan and collector of Vpets and Tamagotchis, this is a cute concept so far. However I'm a bit disappointed at the lack of stuff to do, or even pet my Pimon, I can only pick it up and drop it in other rooms. Its rather bland and could really use some QoL improvements, or just more to do in general. I never find myself wanting to even open the game while at my PC because of how little it has to offer. Maybe if there were more added, like interactions, it could spark my interest again. But for now, I think i'll just stick with my actual Tamagotchi instead.

It's... Fiiiiine? There's no option for a neutral review, because I would be giving it that. It's got positives, but for what I wanted out of a vpet game, there's too many features I wanted that aren't there. It's designed to be very simple, and that's to its credit- it surely is simple. Maybe too simple for me as I don't get to really interact with my vpet at all besides moving them around. I want to give it attention somehow but I can't. No petting, no chew toys to throw around, nothing. Sounds are really nice, I like that you have an active hand in skill progress if you want to, and I think that you can battle other players is really neat. It's also strangely frustrating to lose all progress on my vpet when I step afk to do something for awhile. I sometimes forget that I have it running, and sometimes I do it intentionally to bump up my skills while I'm not at the pc and I come back to find all my progress is reset. I don't really know what to make of this, it's like the point of the game is to barely grab your attention, but if you let that happen you chance starting over from scratch. I don't know if there's more planned for this, but it doesn't feel like the loop of caring for your vpet was entirely thought out, atleast in its current state. On a totally personal note, I don't like the higher level designs. I would like my vpets to be more pet-like, like a ferret or cat or dog, less humanoid. Feels weird caring for a creature that looks like it could take better care of itself than I could. Overall, it's okay. Just okay. It does it's job of being that thing-to-the-side that I sometimes remember to pay attention to while working on my pc. Is it worth my lunch money? Sure. I can tell a good amount of effort was put into it
