Curse the Cursor presents a split idle experience with Parker Mode, where you avoid moving your cursor to accumulate currency, and Nonstop Mode, which inverts that constraint. The game emphasizes cosmetic progression through skins, effects, and backgrounds alongside achievement hunting, making it appeal primarily to completionists seeking an unconventional idle hook rather than traditional progression systems.
About this game
An idle game with two opposite modes. --Parker Mode: Do not move your cursor!-- --Nonstop Mode: Move your cursor!-- Customize your game with skins, effects, and backgrounds.
The game is a lot of fun, exactly what it says on the tin. This idler offers a unique experience, which is rare in the genre. I've had a lot of fun getting achievements in this game, and I am super greatful to the amazing dev that helped out with some issues I had while playing. If you are reading this, buy the game!
If you're an achievement wh0re there's something to do, but otherwise it's absolutely pointless. In Park mode you hit space bar and walk away. You can't minimize the game, you can't put your laptop to sleep, you can't Alt+Tab out. It just sits there, full screen and tying up your computer entirely. Every minute you get in-game currency to buy a different cursor that does literally nothing any different. In Move mode you move your cursor constantly, but otherwise it's the same nothing.
