Pizza Empire

Fun little clicker game with pixelated graphics and different types of pizzas to click on. It comes with the usual upgrade system that lets you prestige in the end but you also need to ascend. With more upgrades come more things added to your screen. Also, there is animation and the speed of the moving items can be set at will.

It has a retro feeling to it and it does not take hundreds of hours to complete 100%. Also, updates are regular by the dev. I had some technical issues but they were quickly corrected. Recommended!

Pizza Empire is a clicker/idle game in which you create pizzas via clicks & automation in an effort to become a wealthy pizzaiolo & business owner.

Beginning as an apprentice pizzaiolo in a tiny kitchen cooking cheese pizzas, you will click to create pizzas & unlock additional toppings (until finally reaching the most profitable pizza: the supreme pizza). As your pizza evolves (indicated by visual changes), so will your productivity as you purchase upgrades towards automation (including delivery drivers, restaurants, factories, & franchises). Each upgrade purchased to automate making & selling your pizzas is displayed visually (i.e., new restaurants & factories spawning on screen), which delightfully adds to the immersion of "growing your pizza empire."

When purchasing a franchise upgrade for the first time each run, the option to soft reset the game for prestige becomes available. The more prestigious you become (which is indicated by stars), the quicker you will grow your empire from bottom-up each time (with each reset providing a productivity boost). Once you've become a 10-star businessperson, you will have the option to ascend (resetting your stars for a permanent bonus). After completing the initial prestige 10-star set, the 1st ascended 10-star set (ruby), and the 2nd ascended 10-star set (diamond), you will have the ability to complete the "x10 prestige → ascension" diamond loop infinitely — thus the dough will continue to rise to your heart's content. 🍕

Thus far, the developer (Bando) has been very communicative with the budding Pizza Empire community, displaying a genuine desire for and appreciation of honest feedback — a positive indication that the dev is truly passionate about their project & is open to discussion. Additionally, the developer has alluded to plans for expanding their vision & the available content/features in future updates. Since launch, the developer has already added several additional features (including cosmetic items, "golden pizzas" and "pizza boxes"), promptly resolved bugs, and implemented reasonable player suggestions for a better experience.

As of 03/07/2026, there are no microtransactions & the game is 100% free to play — NO EXTRA "IRL" DOUGH KNEADED. 😜

Definitely a fun distraction. I played way more of this game than I probably should have, but with a good reason: I got to play the game "twice"*. I played the game shortly after release, and while I was playing... the devs dropped a major update that added a bunch more achievements. Not only more achievements, but some nice QOL changes as well. I basically got to see things go from the 1.0 release, to a much better version within the space of hours, it was pretty cool to see. I 100%-ed the game, then had to essentially start over again and do it all again, but this time with more pizza-y goodness. While playing the 1.0 version originally, I had some thoughts on things that could be improved, and when I ended up starting fresh again, I realized that they had all been addressed already, it kind of blew my mind a little bit.

If you like clicker/idle games, you can't really go wrong here...
it's free, and a pretty fun time.
