SynthetiCell BioClicker tasks you with nurturing a synthetic cell colony through idle progression and incremental growth, drawing inspiration from Conway's Game of Life. The core loop involves building up your automaton population and collecting resources, with offline progression supporting play sessions. However, players note significant issues with presentation clarity, repetitive early mechanics, and accessibility concerns that undermine the potentially interesting premise.
About this game
SynthetiCell BioClicker is an Idle incremental simulator where you bring to life a colony of synthetic automaton cells. Inspired by the classic 'Game of Life' by mathematician John Horton Conway (1970) about the evolution of an organism. Can you guide your colony to prosperity?

Game immediately slaps you in the face with a bunch of AI generated art as soon as you launch the game
Bro spent too much time polishing up flashy GFX not enough polishing up the UX and controls.
I refunded it. It's visually intense but not fun or interesting to play.
I cannot recommend (sadly). Concept itself is interesting, but the game lacks any settings, is full of bad text formatting, bugs, it's VERY heavy on the eyes, and makes my head hurt after 15 minutes with tons of flashing lights, poor visibility of very small elements and neon colours (and it's not my fault, as normally I very much enjoy games with those colours). There is also no tutorial or documentation on any of the mechanics, so you're playing totally blind.
I mean, i get its an idle game, and I have only 30min played, but it was one of the most boring 30minutes of my life. Doing the sequence like 8 times was only for for the first 3, then repetitive and boring. Then there is the collection of molecules... it MIGHT have been interesting the first 4 times if the thing followed your cursor instead of just basically spam clicking where i want it to go. The upgrades? Are they even upgrades? It feels like I am accomplishing nothing. I used an auto-clicker because it was so boring. Turned out you dont unlock new things.. you make click worth more and thats about it.

* Show the improvement items from the beginning. * Adjust the difficulty and times to defend the cell nucleus, in the molecule collector part to expand the maximum colony.
