[i]Candy Christmas[/i] is more challenging than it first appears and for the price is a nice little time waster to fill out some down time. [h2][u]Gameplay & Features[/u][/h2] Settings include; audio controls, language, resolution settings and the ability to delete your game (restart), remove the time bars and pick fullscreen or windowed. [h2][u]Tips N Tricks[/u][/h2] * The candy you select first before swapping will be the piece that has its move counted and will be locked once the swap is done. Once you make the match any locked pieces within that match are gone, no longer hindering you. * Fill up the meter on the side by making matches and combos, once full you move on to the next level. * You can thankfully pause the game when needed * If you can make fast matches in a row the combo’s stack because there is a slight delay in when the game registers a match. Just be mindful that the first candy you hit will be locked so select them in the right order [h2][u]Overall Experience[/u][/h2] This game is not your typical match-3. For starters it does not have the fluidity in controls that a normal match-3 has. You need to click each piece to swap it (no dragging). Also each piece only has one move allowed essentially locking into place once moved so there is a bit of strategy to this game. The premise however of the game is the same, match 3 identical candies to remove them from the board. Things I would change is I wish we could turn off the timer completely and that when we reach a new level we can start on that level once continuing. The way it is now you have to start all over at level 1. Also the matches can take a few seconds to register (which in some situations can be a benefit).
