I can't stop playing this game. I have "one-more-turn" syndrome.
Okay let's get right down to it. Yes this game is bare bones, just one background (of the pirate cat!), though it does have two differernt deck face choices. The old normal one (with numbers so tiny I can barely see them!) or a new set of suits that I'm still trying to figure out can and can't go on top of another card. Thankfully, when in doubt just click on a card and it will automatically go where it can. Or you can click, hold, and drag if you want to be old-school.
There are two options: Easy and Hard. Easy lets you draw one card at a time from the draw pile. Hard draws 3 cards from the draw pile. You can go back through the draw pile once you reach the end by clicking on where it used to be.
Graphics: what you see in the screenshots. I do like the new deck, and the cat pirate is cool.
Sound: I turned off the music because I play my own so can't comment.
Price: In US it's only $1.99. Personally I think it's overpriced by a dollar but just wait for a sale, or try to find a coupon or perhaps a bundle.
These kinds of games are difficult to decide to vote Yes or No. For me, what I call the Fun Factor weighs heavily against the barebones graphics and options and price. And so it barely squeeks by to get a Yes vote from me. But if you don't find it fun and addicting (and you have bad taste and don't like the Pirate Cat--Arrr! Avast ye mateys!) then by all means vote with your wallet!
