Not bad potential for the game, interesting mechanics. But now I see a few critical points - too fast progression, few upgrades and lack of achievements. I will wait for updates. Good luck!
Hello everyone! Hope you're all having a blast growing your orbs in "Grorb: Grow the Orb"! It's been a busy sprint behind the scenes, and I'm super excited to drop a new update for you. This one's packed with a bunch of new content, some much-needed quality-of-life tweaks, and of course, a few bug fixes to make your experience smoother. We're talking new levels, new baddies, and even new languages. Here’s the full rundown: ### Additions * Added the new Kitchen Level * Rolled out the Bowling Alley level * Introduced Caesar as a boss for the Colosseum (quite the character) * Added a boss for the Space Level * Placed a cutting board in the Kitchen level * Added the menacing Tomato as a kitchen enemy * Introduced the Knife as a new kitchen enemy * Frying Pan boss now rules the Kitchen level * Spruced up the Colosseum map with some foliage * Implemented a confirmation screen before quitting the game (no accidental rage quits) * Crafted a brand-new tutorial to guide new players * Added Controller Support * Added Japanese language support * Added Russian language support * Added Spanish language support * Added French language support ### Tweaks/Improvements * Finally localized all upgrade texts (no more linguistic Frankenstein's monster) * Replaced placeholder icons for several upgrades * Added functionality to declare specific content as demo content * Integrated additional upgrade text into the localization system ### Bug fixes * Fixed an issue where the Boss Bar wasn't accurately showing boss health * Squashed a bug where all enemies were meowing Thanks so much for playing and for all your amazing feedback! It truly helps make Grorb: Grow the Orb better with each update. I'll be continuing to polish things up and adding even more content, so stay tuned for what's next! Probably the last update before the Steam Next Fest. Be sure to use the feedback system ingame to let me know of possible improvements. Gooder Games
Hello everyone, This update brings a few new features to the game, primarily focusing on a new arena location and initial localization support! We've also squashed a bunch of pesky bugs. Created String Tables (Optional but Recommended). Gathered Text and Generated Translation Files. Imported Translations into UE5. Compiled Text and Tested In-Editor. Designed Language Selection UI Widget. Implemented Blueprint Logic for Language Switching. Integrated Language Menu into Main Settings. Saved and Loaded Language Preference. Implemented Proper Death Animation for the Player Enemies now have Spawn Animations Tweaks/Improvements Implemented an In-Game Feedback System, including a UI widget and the creation of Google Form. Enemies now spawn with the right size in the Colosseum. Bug fixes Fixed the Player Pawn Death Animation so it doesn't suck when the player is big! The Upgrades UI now updates when purchasing Upgrades. Fixed the Space Prestige display (Hint to myself: Check your brackets next time). Options now save correctly without resetting the whole save file. Some would say that was a critical bug. The Damage Upgrade is now actually implemented and works! Checking and removing debris from destroyed enemies to reduce lag. Enemies should no longer get yeeted out of the level. Removed the Debug Sphere when the player dies. I'll likely release another patch or two in the coming week to iron out any further issues, considering this game will participate in the next Steam Fest. Also need to overhaul the Steam Page, it is a mess and not up to date anymore.
