This is an asset flip with AI generated content. Not only that, but the reviews seem to be botted.
The AI art is bad, the AI text-to-speech is terrible, and the game lacks any consistency. It crashes after the Shoot 'em Up section. The game would be more acceptable if it were a student project, but it's not, judging by the publisher/producer history with other games. I don't understand the point of releasing multiple games of this quality on Steam, especially since the fee from Steam for one game is $100 USD. Most of these games are free, with no way to make the money back. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some foul play involved here.

About the reviews:
It's clearly an FPS in the style of Painkiller, but the reviews mention "puzzle adventures." These reviews are clearly written by some cheap AI. Not only that, but there are only 13 reviews at the time of writing this, yet 89 people found the top review helpful, and 10 found it funny?

Next time, I recommend putting more effort into making the game rather than buying reviews.

Giving my PC a scan after playing this game, to be sure I didn't get any crypto miners or malware with it.

Invention 7 - A Mind-Bending Puzzle Adventure with a Heart

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Invention 7 is a captivating and immersive puzzle game that will have you questioning reality, your problem-solving skills, and your patience in equal measure. This game is a brilliant blend of mind-bending puzzles, narrative depth, and a unique visual style that keeps you hooked from start to finish.

The core concept of the game is that you're exploring an enigmatic world full of strange devices, machines, and cryptic clues. Each level is like a mini-masterpiece, offering up intricate puzzles that require you to think outside the box (sometimes literally) to solve them. The puzzles are challenging but never unfair, and there's a real sense of satisfaction when you crack one. They often involve manipulating the environment, figuring out complex sequences, or interacting with strange contraptions in ways you wouldn't expect.

The art design is stunning — each environment feels like it could belong in a science fiction or steampunk world, with incredible attention to detail. The atmosphere is so immersive that you’ll often lose track of time as you get wrapped up in the world. The minimalist soundtrack perfectly complements the setting, giving just enough sound to enhance the mood without overpowering the experience.

Story-wise, Invention 7 shines in a subtle yet powerful way. It doesn’t rely on heavy exposition or over-the-top narratives but instead pulls you in with its atmosphere, symbolism, and the quiet sense of discovery. As you progress, there’s a deeper narrative lurking beneath the puzzles, one that’s about more than just solving problems — it’s about understanding the nature of invention, creation, and even the boundaries of human ingenuity.

While the game can be quite challenging, the difficulty curve is well-paced. There’s a real sense of progression, and each solved puzzle feels like a personal victory. The controls are smooth and intuitive, and the game encourages exploration, allowing you to take your time and experiment with the various tools at your disposal.

If you enjoy games that make you think, immerse you in a strange, captivating world, and offer a true sense of accomplishment when you overcome their challenges, Invention 7 is an absolute must-play.

Pros:

Thought-provoking and creative puzzles
Stunning art design and atmosphere
Subtle yet engaging story
Intuitive controls and satisfying progression
Cons:

Some puzzles can feel like a bit of a brain-buster (but that's part of the fun!)
Occasional moments where hints or guidance might have been helpful
Invention 7 is a true testament to the power of clever game design and storytelling, and it’s one of those games that will stick with you long after you've finished it.
