Well its a game. There was an idea. I can see a person having their first try developing this game mostly based of an idea they had and not further flashing out details. The problem is that the controlls are not intuitive. The highlighting is good and absolutely necessary. - there are some options to zoom in and out but they are pointless as soon as you get to the point where you fill out the screen on the max zoomed out setting. - you can not use your scrollwheel on your mouse - the number you have to find when reaching "20K digits after the dot" just cant be found since the game at one point just cuts the numer of pi like so: "3.14(followed by a lot of digits)2563...XXX" (where XXX just displays the newest added numbers). I expect that I wont be able to find the following numbers aswell so I just stop playing now.
I just assume the game did not get tested to the point where I now stopped playing which is about 1/3 into the game.
I like this clicker game, it's pretty basic but you have to search for number patterns visually and do quick math problems to gain bonuses. When you click on a number it highlights the other same numbers in the field, and if you highlight 2 or 3 numbers it will show all the matching patterns --- making it far quicker to find a 4 digit number for example. You can click actively, but after a certain point it will ask you to do a few quick problems to continue (and progress continues passively still when the buttons are taken away). There isn't much gameplay other than that, but it seems to have a pretty tall ceiling for achievement completion and if you are quick with a calculator and your eyes you can progress faster in this game.
Patch 2.0 Players are no longer "trapped" within the first 10k digits—you can now explore the entire number Pi. A new ticket system has been added. Various actions now cost between 1 to 5 tickets, but you can earn tickets by finding the correct digits. An in-game calculator has been introduced. Ticket Prices: Use the calculator – 1 ticket Claim a reward for solving – 1 ticket Use boosters – 3 tickets Attempt to find a combination – 5 tickets
