"Insipid" is the second asset flip from "Simple Logic Games" and it doesn't seem they're going to stop anytime soon as the third one is already approved on Steam but not available yet (although you can already buy keys on bundle sites).
This time they took a free and extremely basic Unity template, Color Picker Game by Daniel Buckley and published it on Steam without much modification. The title screen is different, that's about it.
As I said, the template is very basic. You get displayed a series of colored squares with a single one being a slightly different shade. If you pick that one you'll get 10 points and the next puzzle appears, if not it's game over. There's also a time attack mode where you'll also have to select a tile quickly otherwise it's also game over.
While Mr. Buckley did release the template for free it's of questionable ethics to attempt to sell it without any kind of meaningful modification on Steam. If you absolutely have to play this game I'm certain there are countless variants on the internet - or you could just download Unity and the template and build it yourself with the added benefit of maybe learning something. In the end, Daniel Buckley is also the author of several Unity courses.
In any case, don't give this "developer" your money for something you could easily get for free.
