It's designed as a low-stress experience ideal for players seeking gentle, meditative gameplay without pressure or combat.
About this game
A short and relaxing incremental game about discovering and exploring the planets of our solar system.
Developing for the Steam DeckThe Steam Deck is my main gaming device, so of course I made sure the game works perfectly on it from the very beginning. The Deck is obviously more than powerful enough to run the game; fitting the interface into the small display resolution was the main challenge. PerformanceIt's a 2D game built in a very efficient language (Lua), so it runs perfectly on the Deck (and most other devices too).Recommended ControlsI recommend using the "Mouse & Keyboard" controls and using the touchpad to move the cursor, with the left and right triggers acting as mouse buttons.SupportIf you run into any issues, feel free to create a post in the Steam discussions or hop on the Discord and let me know: https://discord.gg/CSffqdARn2See you guys in orbit,Janis (dev)
Hey everyone,I finally finished the first big update for the demo (Changelog down below). First and foremost, a massive thank you to everyone who has played the game so far, and especially to those who took the time to share their feedback. Your insights are incredibly valuable, and I really don't take your support for granted. What's coming next? There are still many more ideas floating in my head and I have to figure out which ones are worth adding to the game. Here are the two things I want to focus on:Fantasy: I want to dig deeper into the "fantasy" of running your own space company (agency?). The player should pick a name and a logo at the start of the game for example. Maybe you compete with other companies.Depth: Many players asked me if there will be more planets and more systems in the future. That might be happening but I think going deeper instead of wider will make the game more interesting.Check out the new trailerI posted the new trailer to YouTube to hopefully get some attention. Maybe you could watch it to boost the algorithm? :)ChangelogNOTE: Your old save file won't be compatible with this version as there are too many changes.FeaturesNew satellite: The extractor satellite extracts resources from any planetNew currency: "Resources" are a new currency that you have to sell separately on the marketMarket: The price of resources changes randomly over time. Try to time your sale to maximize profitsAll satellite types now need to be unlocked firstQuality of lifeAdded "$" and "s" inside the progress barsAdded a symbol for scienceThe graph now shows money and science per minuteYou need to confirm if you want to start a new game to avoid accidentally deleting your saved gameAdded a sound effect when you can't do something (e. g. buy something without money)Limited the camera movement so you can't scroll outside foreverThe camera now focuses on the selected planetThe window resolution gets saved and loadedScaling: I added this in the previous update to help r...
