I really enjoyed the chill vibe of this game. Something about the sounds the gacha machine makes is just so satisfying! I could literally sit there and spin it all day.

The art is beautiful, and the music hits that relaxing, nostalgic mood perfectly. It’s such a cute game for a world that’s banned cute things, and every little item you get is just adorable.

The mechanics are simple and easy to understand, which makes it perfect to unwind with after work or a long day. It’s cozy, calm, and just fun to vibe with.

The story is actually really interesting too! Without spoiling anything, it’s got this mix of quiet rebellion and melancholy. You can feel that something deeper is going on beneath the cozy atmosphere, and it makes every little “cute” thing you do feel kind of powerful. I had so much fun playing this game!!

Honestly, Ministry of Stoic feels like the perfect mix of cozy and rebellious!! SUPER KAWAII!!

Cute is justice.

Ministry of Stoic stirs the rebel in you to take action against an anti-aesthetic government through the power of cute trinkets! The plot of the game sparks an (unintentionally?) meta narrative on going against hustle culture and taking time and resources to acquire things you like which may have no overt purpose except to bring you joy. By running illegal gacha machines and selling the cute-wares at a ramen stall, you spread the power of cuteness to the masses.

I also love backpack management, so having the store run through that system made me happy and kept me playing! Some of the visitors may also have a specialised look to them... (The developers included some cameos of Vtubers in this game, adorable!)
