Forest Factory The game is in early access and the game is made by one person a nice look and a dedicated dev
chop trees to earn enough money to buy better axe or machines to make other products and sell them cant wait for more updates it was worth buying it
Excellent early access game by a single developer. Very receptive, wants players feedback and constructive criticism. There are bugs and the dev is continuing to work on them and improve the game all the time. I've enjoyed talking with yaso about the development and seeing where this game is heading in the future. I recommend this game to anyone that enjoys watching and being apart of the development to buy this game and join in to support this Dev. There aren't to many Devs out there like this and I hope this is a growing trend in the indie gaming industry. Support the small up and coming. Look forward to seeing more improvements in the future.
idk game is ok, alot of bugs like the car or truck flipping out of existance and tossing my wood across the map. its very robloxy not worth 6$ as of now
We are preparing Forest Factory for full release. This is an update that includes tutorials to make the gameplay more fun and to help you better understand where and what moves to make. Let's take a look at what has been added and changed.New shopWe now have a shop in the town square so we can sell our products there (tablet sales are still active but will be completely deactivated shortly)CustomersIf there is a shop, there must be customers, so people in town can stop by your shop and buy products. since this is a very new feature, there may be bugs, you can write your feedback on discord.Fixed issues/small additions:We fixed the issue where the handbrake and the item drop button on the car were the same button, so when using the car brake we would drop the item on the ground. We have strengthened the registration system of the game a bit more and we hope that this will end the registration problems. We have improved the save delete button in the main menu. now it does the delete operation better. At the time of machine purchase it felt bad that it spawned too close to us, now it will spawn a little further away.We made a small tutorial for our shop in town. We've increased the speed of the car so we can get to town faster. Time is money. We solved the problem of not cutting the tree completely, which prevented us from getting the wood on the ground. now you can collect the wood without having to cut the tree completely. If you test this update, which includes many small changes like these, and if you don't like what you don't like or if there is something you say you should definitely add this, you can reach me with the name discord yaso._
DemoA little bit about the next updates, I'm going to release a demo before the full release, so you can test the game and if you like it you can buy the full version, but I'm going to keep the demo very limited.New machinesThe main objective of the game is for someone living in the forest to make a living by using the materials in the environment to obtain valuable items and investing the money he earns to make more valuable products. The materials in the forest are limited: trees, stones, berries, maybe a mine if you are lucky. There are many products that can be made with these materials and you will need machines to make them. At the moment the number of machines is small because I haven't increased the variety of machines in order to understand the game and get clearer feedback. I plan to add new machines in the near future, but only if I can do it without complicating the gameplay.Worker systemI had a worker system that was active in the early stages of the game, I'm sure some of you remember, where they would go and cut trees and carry the wood to the warehouse.I removed this system because the characters didn't fit the theme of the game and I want to test the worker system once again in early access so we can decide if it is suitable for the full version. Are you a boss or a peasant?about multiplayerI'm currently working on another project to get more experience with multiplayer games, but adding multiplayer to a game is a very difficult process. That's why I'm closing this thread here by saying that multiplayer will not be coming anytime soon, if I find an easy way, it will come in the future.gameplay, environment, feelThis is what I'm going to work on the most in the next update, because it's not the machines or the workers or the ordering system that makes the game. According to your feedback, I can say that I have made changes at many points in the game so far. I will pay attention to what you say in the next process.order systemI have to say I'm not very ...
1 month later, I am here with the first update. in this update, I made changes that will make the theme of the game a little more enlightened, increase the forest feeling, improvements in the direction of woodcutting, changes in the tree visuals according to the life levels when cutting trees, and changes that will make it fun to play this kind of game. I told you that the game will not only have a theme on wood and wood, for this I first added stones to the game (you cannot actively break it now, but in the next updates I will activate it with the products that are produced with stones and the machines that will make them, and I am also working on an improvable pickaxe system for breaking stones).your feedback directly affects the direction of the game, so you can send me your feedback via discord, email or steam community.
