Silktrails: Cats in the grove is a free, quick little seek-and-find that takes place in the world of Silkgrove, the developers upcoming game.

Settings include; the settings in this one are very basic. Audio controls and language. There is no way to put your game into windowed mode and be able to resize it (for widescreen users).

Overall Experience

Overall your basic seek-and-find with limited features. It is set in the world of Silkgrove (an upcoming game by the same devs) so this game is probably a way to advertise for the main game. Which is a pretty good way honestly to draw eyes to your main project. Also it is free and a quick little game to pass away some time while getting easy achievements.

Any cat-lover will want to play this game. Silktrails presents us 4 different levels, each encompassing a 2D artwork of black/white landscape drawings with cats hidden in each of them. It's very beginner friendly, as you only need to find <20 cats on each map, making it an easy quick play. You have 1 interact-able NPC on each map that wants you to help find their cats, and you're off highlighting whatever felines you find. I completed all levels, and got 100% achievement in less than 10 minutes!

For a free game, Silktrails: Cats in the grove is a great short game for those who are into the HoG genre, or for new/casual players alike. Try it yourself, it's F2P afterall.

I sure with there was a neutral review option. I hate knocking a free game and the artwork is great! But it looks like someone just pasted some cats onto an already drawn level. Weird cat sizes, small amount to find. Just a mid game.
