Bajillionaire lets you build and customize absurdly large slot machines in an incremental progression loop where winnings unlock better machines and upgrades. The game wraps its number-crunching core in retro pixel art and a memorable soundtrack, while a narrative mystery gradually unfolds as you accumulate wealth. It's designed for players who enjoy measured incremental growth, cohesive aesthetic presentation, and don't mind learning its UI through exploration.

edit: i'm dev's roommate. he's been making this for a while, thought i'd leave a nice review but forgot that my gobs of free testing time don't count kekw. there's some janky UI and some basic explanations are a little unintuitive, but i can see him working on those over at his desk so, soonTM for fix

excellent. incrementalism is well paced, art style is cohesive, music is good, and design is compact enough to not demand intense scrutiny but still requires more than a single marble of brain cell. Not quite as off the wall as cruelty squad, has more of an esoteric/postfunk aesthetic going on.

For anyone genuinely interested this game is really promising. The direction of this game is amazing. The music is a fantastic 8 bit mix of casino elevator music and late 90s semi-retro tunes with a bit of house and some more arcadier tracks mixed in. Honestly the soundtrack alone is what originally attracted me. Hontlie Miami, Step 12, Beat, and the title track are all songs I could play on repeat and be happy. I love the quirky hand-drawn aesthetic of certain things like the coins and currency and how they make everything feel chaotic and in your face. The actual gambling is incredibly satisfying and feels rewarding when you get use out of a new currency. There is no true idling either, even late game eventually your buddies will die and the system will need external input to keep everything going. The need to gamble your coins before you can use them is genius and I love the visual, I only wish I could do it faster or do more at a time. I also wish you could do the same to bad coins to delete them since speed is the only coin with a truly detrimental bad coin and I have like 900 red pills now that I refuse to take the time to delete (you have to manually right click every coin to delete it). Other similar QOL things this game needs would be things like a text box to manually decide how many coins to buy/insert/flip (it could still insert them in sequence), separate binds for the snowplow and skateboard (that still allow you to transfer the top speed of the skateboard to the snowplow), and a shop refill countdown timer. Great, whimsical little gamba game 9.6/10

oh christ they made an incremental slot machine game, humanity is doomed

jokes aside, really solid little number-go-up game! great tunes, lovely scrappy pixel art style, and a very satisfying "use this to get that and then use that to get those" loop with the different machines. main picks so far is that theres no tutorial (which is needed because its a bit hard to get to grips with the UI and gameplay loop at first) and the control system is overall super janky and really clunky feeling.

theres also a cconcern to me over what this game is actually going to be in the end? like is this goign to just be infinite numbers upping or is there gonna be goals, challenges, runs, etc. because at the moment its just the former and whilst thats nice, im not sure i can see it holding much attention in the grand scheme of things once you hit the late game and things get more convoluted.
