Not too sure how this game hasn't picked up more traction... it is an idler players DREAM!!

This is a sit back and relax type of idler, what an idler should be IMO. You just watch your little angler do all sorts of activities while admiring the stunning dioramas coupled with soothing ambient sounds. It sits comfortably on your screen with options to not only move the location but change the size. When you have time in between tasks, you can click away putting points into unlocking better gear, better fish and new maps. The coolest feature tho is the option in settings to change your desktop wallpaper temporarily (while the game is running) to match the current diorama. Makes it feel totally immersive and zen like. What an absolutely beautiful game ♡

I have no complaints. It would be cool if you could customize your little fisherman and boat. Also, an option to zoom in because I want to admire everything. DLC when?? ;)

If you are looking for a complete hands off idling experience, you will def appreciate what this game has to offer!

Update: didn't even realize that updating your gear changes the appearence of the boat and your supplies. So cute!!

The moment I opened the game and the soundtrack started playing, I was hooked immediately. The birds chirping, the calming atmosphere, the cozy vibe… it felt relaxing from the very first second. ♡
And the handcrafted islands!! I literally only just started and i am still on the first island, but I can already tell this game is something special. Everything feels made with so much love. You just feel it. Its relaxing without being boring, cozy without trying too hard. Somehow, after only 10 minutes, you already know this is going to be an idle game you will play for hours, or keep coming back to from time to time.

If you love idle games, Kernelbay is honestly such a cozy little gem! The ambience is fantastic, it’s super relaxing, and it’s perfect for low-energy days when you just want to chill and decompress.
