Idle Dangers tasks you with building and commanding a team through endless automated combat encounters in a dark fantasy setting. The progression wall hits quickly, with paying players and early adopters gaining insurmountable damage multipliers that render free-to-play advancement futile. Despite the idle combat premise, thin content depth and aggressive monetization make this a hard pass for players seeking fair progression or substantial mechanics.

40/100 Idle Shopsimulator

>>> after 3 hours you´re #top50 and hit the big wall
Now time to delete the game as everyone is much stronger...
--> especially those who paid!
Imagine you´re already #rank34 but rank 15 and lower do 10-50 times your damage. Pointless.

there are plenty enough games like this about but this one is the thinnest content wise i have seen of it's type.

EDIT: now locked out for many hours after being kicked out for what i can only guess was maintenance shutdown, even during event time. was no.1 player by a margin and guild leader of top guild on newest server (S36) and a paying player. now they have lost me.
currently cannot login, no idea why as certainly nothing has been communicated to steam players about any kind of maintenance schedule. new server in a game two months past launch and already major issues.
old servers are all immediately tagged as 'full' the moment a new one is opened.
if that alone does not wave the giant red flag enough for you, read on for more

the lack of content is pretty crap and the restricted progress by pay-walling way too much resources with massively over-priced packs and passes really destroys any hope for free players or those only willing to NOT pay the price of a new game on steam for a drop in the ocean of progress required, daily. every single angle has been squeezed for funds including even the worst amount of free idle progress time of any game i have seen. you get just 4 hours, which after just 2000 levels is already ridiculous. weekly, monthly and permanent passes are the only way to extend.

the mechanics are nonsense with two frontline slots and two range for your team (though many players choose to show their intelligence with frontline players in range slots because they think it has the effect it DOESN'T actually have....yeah, no idea why either. maybe they like to see their range players die faster by putting them in front?), yet 5 different types of player to choose from. regardless, only one has any real impact and building a second or third adds almost no real effect to outcomes or timers. certainly not enough to have any major impact that they SHOULD have. some wierd mechanics at work there.
but then players are restricted to building a certain way regardless as the quest line forces it and the restricted resources, even as a paying player, also force the same build or just a VERY empty bank account.

honestly, this is just massively over-greedy chinese design like the asian facebook browser games of old this developer is known for. pure industry cancer
