Player's New World pairs a desktop companion with idle mechanics and dungeon progression. Your pet generates resources while you work, which you spend summoning allies and equipping them for deeper dungeon runs. The game's appeal lies in its complete trading freedom—characters, levels, and gear are all tradeable, making it relevant to players who enjoy both low-maintenance growth and collaborative economies.
About this game

I wanted to like this game because of the idea of it and based on my playtime it looks like I gave it more than a fair chance but honestly in that playtime I accomplished basically nothing. Everything in this game is built around waiting, Not like an incremental game, just a waiting game. Wait hours for chests, wait hours for energy, spend energy in seconds, wait again. eventually you have enough items to craft a single piece of gear. Repeat until you have enough to wear and upgrade to level 2 gear, Oh wait you can't chose which pieces it uses, it just used everything you were wearing instead of the extras. Start over. Oh, but now your not strong enough to fight because you've run out of food, Should have bought keys so you could have a 1% to do something. That's the niche of it, wait endlessly for items, Find out you can't use them without spending real money on keys, then gacha if it's the item you needs.
Unlocking characters is even worse, Oh you've got a character gacha box? Here buy a key! Congrats you got a SSR character, nope you got an SSR Piece, Please combine 250 pieces to get the character. Don't worry the keys are only 1.87 apiece and you have a chance to get a crate like ever 8 - 24 hours. Or you know you can buy other players crates or pieces on the market. But since the pieces aren't a guaranteed drop, players want more than the cost of keys for them. btw you've still accomplished nothing.
The developer is constantly updating it and I vaguely see what they are trying to do but the balance is garbage, the design doesn't work with a 2005 facebook game energy system, and gating every little feature behind hours of waiting and pay walls just doesn't appeal. The game didn't even have a tutorial for the first week, now it kind of does but its more like a comic slide of with the basics, but even then half of the stuff in the images doesn't match up with what is actually in the game. So after giving this game more than a fair chance my vote is don't bother.

Dear players,We have recently discovered a suspected issue in which certain items may have been obtained through abnormal means. Based on our initial investigation, in some cases it may be possible to bypass the chest cooldown by disconnecting and logging back in, resulting in abnormal reward acquisition. To prevent the issue from spreading further and to maintain fairness in the in-game item and market environment, we will temporarily disable the market feature while we work on a fix and follow-up handling. The reopening time of the market will be announced in a future notice. We sincerely apologize for any impact this issue may have caused to your gameplay experience. Thank you for your understanding and support.
