It's a very simple upgrade style game, you collect coins, you sell coins, you buy upgrades, you collect more coins better, so on and so on. Problem is the first 10 minutes is about the same as the next 10 hours There's nothing new to look at other than seaweed and sand piles. It's a bit of false advertising because the store image shows a deep, crystal infused area. Not in the game however. It's the same repeating areas for 32 levels.

Man, i REALLLLLLY wanted to like this game, and i enjoyed the demo immesnely, and was excited for the release. I just wasnt expecting the release to be the EXACT same thing, just with further levels and different coin colors. But the upgrades are still the same, you still get upgrade locked (why?), and the only new feature as opposed to the demo is keys actually work now on treasure chests.
I love Moose, i love moose miners, even if that one needs some work too, but man, this one really had a chance to be great. Minimap upgrades. Aesthetic options. No limiting your upgrade purchases. Level progression seems arbitrary and the quests are in an incredibly strange order, leading to stagnation. Its already super easy to cheese, as coin distribution is always greater towards the further portion of that section, which makes your time more effective at sucking coins, so just place a jetstream every other level unlock, as far away as possible.
Again, i realllllly wanted to like this, but it differs almost zero from the demo, and still feels like a demo, or a gamejam game, when there are so many different ways this couldve gone, especially considering that within the sorta universe the devs are making, moose can wield magic staves, so why not have timed powerups, or spells you can learn. AOE coin sucking, or insta sell. Or Package your coins into crates instead of having to send them all down the jet stream. I dunno. Brainstorming this could be fun and i'd love to change my review if things get implemented, but man, it was just such a letdown.
