Ramen-ten invites you to manage a cozy noodle shop on your desktop, unlocking recipes and decorating your stall while serving an assortment of customers. The idle loop centers on serving patrons and gradually expanding your establishment, though current player reports indicate significant technical issues including progress-resetting bugs and unaddressed achievement problems that substantially impact the experience.

This game is incomplete and bugged, DO NOT BUY IT. Currently 2/21 achievements are unobtainable. The cover art of this game is also AI Generated (despite DEADMAP employing good pixel artists), and I am almost certain the code is AI Generated as well. The major glitch plaguing this game is MONEY RESETTING of all things, in an IDLE GAME. This alone should speak to the level of incompetence on display.
This is literal slop.

When the glitches present in the game were brought up to the developers, one of the 3 devs made the sarcastic comment:
"We understand your frustration. The leveling bug was fixed in the last patch. Right now all efforts are going into the main project. Sorry that a team of 3 people can't simultaneously maintain a small desktop idler and a large 2D adventure game. We'll get back to the remaining bugs as soon as we free up."

Several issue with this arise.
1. The bug mentioned in the first sentence IS NOT FIXED and has been present in the game since launch.

2. This "main project" 'Heart Abyss' has been in development for OVER 3 YEARS, while this game was produced and released in the span of Oct 2025-Nov 2025. Their main project is "so important", that they took a month off to spew out a literal AI generated cash grab.

3. The tone, from a developer, to a paying customer.

This developer does not respect you as a customer, and does not care about providing you with a quality product. If they cannot make an Idler that isn't an incomplete and low-quality mess, I have zero faith in their other games, especially "Heart Abyss", and the devs ability to deliver on any acceptable level of quality. This is a PSA to avoid DEADMAP and all of their games going forward. This level of blatant unprofessionalism and disregard for your paying customers does not bode well for any project they are to release, and as such, you should not give them a single red cent of your hard earned cash.

Edit 01/20/2026
The devs have addressed the issue!

By telling you, the player, to save edit as a "temporary work around" to the incompetent code because "they can not get around to patching it right now". Apparently this has been the case for well over a month for a game that has a current standing life-span of 3 months. But they promise it will be addressed in the next patch! Nevermind the fact that this is equivalent to a developer telling you, the customer, "sorry, can't fix it, cheat/use SAM". Absolutely wonderful customer support. Might as well just give us a window that flashes "POP THE ACHIEVEMENTS WITH SAM DUMMY, THERES NO GAME HERE!" at this point.

Did I forget to mention this workaround doesn't actually... well... work? I did as I was told, modified my save file, and STILL could not get the bugged achievement "Golden Age" to unlock, even cheating. While I was at it, as I seemed to have the developers approval to do so as a "legitimate method", I modified the value for the "ramen sold" to get the "1,000,000 Ramen Sold" achievement. I observed that it did seem to track this value properly, as it was somewhere around 350k, so I stand corrected as only 1 achievement is impossible to unlock.

That does not change the fact that this particular achievement still takes nearly 2000 LEGITIMATE HOURS of doing absolutely nothing as the content well was already dry 12 hours after starting the game, you can still get locked out of an achievement in a waiting based idle game (DRIP), and everything revolving around Golden Age and the money reset being an absolute and utter joke.

There's also something very off and suspicious about this game when I record it. My recording software does not show any audio being picked up, I have the game very specifically muted, and no audio was heard at all while recording. Yet when I go back to edit the recording down, they magically have a peaking, ear splitting, droning audio ONLY IN THE RECORDING that is this games audio slowed down significantly and DB levels through the roof. This is abnormal behavior that no other game has exhibited in the well over 300 videos I have recorded. Someone with more technical knowledge than I may wish to look into the phenomenon, but it is very sketchy and suspect behavior coming from a game that is very likely vibe-coded.

This dev team is also run by cowards. It's a-ok for them to swindle you out of your money, but don't you dare insult them for cheating you. They're very sensitive and love to delete posts to hide the facts and will ban you from discussions despite the fact you speak the truth. Maybe don't lie, cheat, and steal from your customers?

My stance remains.
Don't buy it. Avoid DEADMAP (developer) and Herocraft PC (publisher). If they're a-ok letting their developers release broken, unfinished games like this, and will not hold their devs to task for it, then they obviously don't care about providing you with honest business, service, or a worthwhile product. This a 3 month old game and support for it stopped after the first month. That should tell you absolutely everything about their level of respect for their customers. You can even go and look at the reviews for the majority of the other games Herocraft PC has published. Almost ALL OF THEM make mention of the games being abandoned shortly after release or being incomplete. Nothing this scam artist of a publishing company puts out should be purchased, and quite frankly I have to wonder how they are even allowed to publish games on Steam at this point.

I recommended this game at first but since then a lot of problem have been report to the devs and their response are either lies about fixing bugs when they didn't or not respectful of their customers. The condescending ''sorry a team of 3 devs that are working on other games isn't good enough'' is insulting. You've work for 3 years on your other games and made this one just to have a cash grab. If you that kind of work ethic I don't want to play anything made by you.

I will tried to complete the game without using SAM just to see how frustrating it could truly be. I genuinely enjoy “Bottom-Of-Your-Screen” idle games — which makes it even more impressive how thoroughly I can't recommend this one.

Since December 2nd, numerous bugs have been reported ( you can check the “Golden Age” achievement discussion ), and what bothers me most is how the developers respond to player feedback. As of January 10th, I am still encountering the following issues:

1. You are supposed to receive 10 Jade every time you level up. However, after a certain point, you must RESTART the game to actually receive it. For example, if you reach level 45 but continue playing until Ramen-Ten reaches level 46, you may permanently lose those 10 Jade. This is especially problematic since there are achievements tied directly to Jade.

2. I have no idea why the game’s cover art appears to be AI-generated when the developers clearly have talented pixel artists. This really helps sell the “quick cash-grab” vibe, rather than the “passion project” one might expect.

3. For the Achievements Hunter: I got force to DELETE MY SAVE AND RESTART the game just because I didn’t know the level cap is 100, while there are roughly 150 levels’ worth of cosmetic upgrades purchasable with Jade. I bought cosmetics for Ramen-Ten and permanently locked myself out of the “DRIP” achievement. Working as intended, I assume.

4. Auto-buy for ingredients is unreliable. After closing and reopening the game, ingredients sometimes randomly disappear and I have to do it manually. Otherwise, I lose 3–5 customers before auto-buy starts working again. Just a friendly reminder: this is an idle game.

5. Upon re-entering the game, upgrade prices ( storage, speed, fame, mastery, awesomeness ) are reduced, as is the ramen selling price.

6. There are no statistics showing how many ramen have been sold, making it impossible to track progress toward the “Master of Ramen” achievement ( Sell 1,000,000 ramen ). Assuming one customer is served every ~10 seconds at max upgrades, this would require roughly ~2,778 hours of idling... The same design philosophy applies to the “Golden Age” achievement ( Earning enough to buy a castle ).

One of the dev stated:: " ...Right now all efforts are going into the main project. Sorry that a team of 3 people can't simultaneously maintain a small desktop idler and a large 2D adventure game. We'll get back to the remaining bugs as soon as we free up. "

=> However, according to the store pages, the team has been working on their other projects for over three years before Ramen-Ten was announced ( October 22 ) and released ( November 6 ). You guys released this game while supposedly already focused on Heart Abyss, seemingly because “Bottom-Of-Your-Screen” games are popular right now — a quick and easy cash grab. After selling it for real money, the game was then left in a broken state while development attention stayed firmly elsewhere.
