This is an idle game you can leave in the corner of your desktop. Watch at your leisure as an android girl researches microbes in a post-apocalyptic world.

very cute and unique game. the graphics, music are very charming and the way the story is told is cool. also, i find myself learning a lot about microbes and bacteria. skipmore makes good games.
A casual, relaxing desktop idle game, a fairly significant departure from SKIPMORE's usual works (Kamiko, Fairune, Transiruby, etc)
Watch the android girl as she goes about her daily life in a post-apocalyptic world. Time passes, the seasons change, and her research advances. There's a story told through cutscenes which are delivered as your research levels up. Upgrades are fairly narrowly focused around her lab equipment but they have many levels, and reaching certain milestones changes their appearance. There's a bit of cosmetic customization and several options to control automation, the size of the window, etc. There's also an interesting balance between manual and auto-microbe collection as the auto collector applies a PT multiplier to microbes gathered, making them more valuable.
I'll always recommend titles from SKIPMORE, but the gameplay isn't similar to their other works. If you're not looking for a slow, incremental idler then it may not be to your tastes.
Cleared all the achievements available on Steam in a little under 200 hours, which gets me just over level 100 in-game. If you're crazy, you can get this up to level 999 by putting it on a computer that isn't going to do anything but compute that for the next...however many months? Maybe years?
As for why you'd do something like that, as many have already stated, it's a fun idler. A good portion of the draw is if you've played other franchises from Skipmore in the past but it's not a hard requirement. Just a few interesting references here and there and a small story to go along with it. Very little else keeping you aside from number go up and watching Lyse fish with her oversized magnet on occasion. For an idler, it does that job well.
If nothing else, it qualifies as a desktop toy for the office, which I more or less used for myself, especially since I took the time to send bugfix data to the devs on a somewhat rocky start of the release, all of which has been cleared by now, so they get points for tackling that as fast and efficient as they did. That might have been part of the fun of all of this personally, for me, so I doubt this will apply to you playing that but I do have to point out that they took the time to do that and it wasn't just a situation of release a game in whatever state and bail - They did, in fact, take time on this and respond to people and that's probably of the reason I'm going to recommend it regardless of how small or large the game is because I appreciate that and I think that should be brought up as often as possible.
