I have to give this a downvote, it's a very average game with not really a whole lot to do and I know it's meant to be an idler type game but it's very basic, you mainly just collect money to buy furniture and outfits which you can't edit, collect pets to upgrade them and there's also a bit of a story and that's incredibly average too, the mini games you play to earn money get boring incredibly quickly and repeat a lot so that's not fun. A lot of the things you can ''draw'' in the drawing mini games are just loads of things taken off of google, no effort was put in at all and no credit given to anyone. It might be a cheap game but it's really not worth the money. (I know I haven't played the full game but I don't think it will be worth playing it all.) It also does turn out that the creator most likely used AI even though they claimed that they didn't.

Incremental game with Lofi music and repetitive, boring minigames.
The game was never tested by the developer, that is clear. Max level is 200 for pets, already at 100 you will start to see an insane progress wall, income trivial and further upgrades require just too much resource. Reported by multiple player that max level literally impossible, even lvl 120 require extreme grind and that is far from lvl 200, and each new level radically harder to reach. Playing the minigames dont help on this either, those giving trivial rewards compared to the requirements, you need to play the same boring minigames with the same boring content thousands of times for 1 pet level up.
Other than that, the game has broken achievements, dont get misleaden by steam player unlocked percentages, there are cheaters out there (achievement tracker sites ban them anyway, unlocker tool usage easily detectable). Was reported several months ago. No changes, while fixing achievements are quite simple. If a developer cant even fix that, then what really should you expect from a game?

Played the game Comfy Girl: Lofi Companion, which is now just called Comfy Girl, for about 26 hours. On the very day I finished writing a review for it, the game was suddenly removed from the platform without any warning or explanation. Steam Support and easily the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with, replied with their typical automated template message that, of course didn’t answer a single one of my questions. Since I wasn’t planning to keep playing the game, wasn’t allowed to post my review and really didn’t feel like having another ugly grey placeholder image in my Profile → Games → All Games section, I had no choice but to remove the game from my account entirely. Now the game, which originally started as a mobile app is back again, so everyone’s happy, or maybe that’s up for debate.
I no longer have access to my original review or the notes I wrote, so I’ll focus only on the key points here, I mainly just want to get this over with. One thing that immediately stands out on Comfy Girl’s store page is the unusually high number of positive reviews from people who barely played the game or never continued afterward. If you rely on reviews to make a purchase decision, keep that in mind and simply ignore those. Get this: the average playtime of all positive reviewers is 7.6 hours, almost 40% only had the game running for about 3 hours and some of them still say things like: “…excellent relaxing game…” or "...really enjoyed the game..."
During my 26 hours with it, I found far more reasons not to recommend this game than the other way around. Yes, it’s cheap but unfortunately it’s still not worth that price. It’s also another clearly recognizable rip-off riding the Lo-Fi hype train, contributing to the point where it’s starting to get annoying. I had a lot of notes about the in-game music, so I’m not going into that any further here.
For a cozy casual game that’s supposed to help you relax, things start piling up way too quickly. On top of that, there’s a clear downside to the clicker-style mechanics, which aren’t mentioned anywhere. For me, the game ended up being more stressful than relaxing. It constantly pushed me to collect currency, level up, play mini-games and repeat the same tasks over and over again. The drawing mini-game was especially annoying, jeez I hated it. You get a few basic lines, you trace them and then some artwork gets revealed. Some of these pieces look legally questionable to me, and the quality varies wildly. There are also quiz mini-games, and a few of the mistakes in them are honestly shocking. I have no idea how nobody caught them. One question for example asked: What is the synonym for protein? The answer choices were: Focaccia, Protein, Ramon, Ramen. And the correct answer was: Protein. Yes… Protein is apparently a synonym for Protein. WTF LOL!
On the store page it says: "Need some cozy company while you plan or unwind?"
Well, then I definitely wouldn’t recommend this game to you.
"Perfect for studying, working or quiet moments"
Yeah, perfect as in: “I’ll tell you whatever you want to hear so you’ll buy my product.”
"No pressure. No timers. Just good vibes and a cozy place where you can take a break anytime."
Pretty poor choice of words. Whether I want to focus or take a break, neither really works with this game.
Unfortunately, the game can’t decide what it wants to be. Everything feels thrown together, without any real balance or coherent product philosophy. There are also a few other questionable points I had to leave out here, but one thing stays true, it’s really not worth recommending.
