Bytecollector tasks you with drawing loops to accumulate bytes, which feed into a 40-plus upgrade tree that gradually introduces new mechanics. Despite its incremental framing, the game demands continuous active input rather than idle progression, making it a short, repetitive grind that rewards speed over strategy. Best suited for players who enjoy skill trees and don't mind constant mouse-based input.

This should no have the "idler" tag, at no point is this anything close to idle. This game is grindy and repetitive and requires active gameplay from start to finish. I finished the game in an hour and a half, and after the first 10 minutes the gameplay didn't really change.
There is no way to turn of the CRT effect which really irritated my eyes after a while.
I think this game might have genuinely hurt my wrist from how repetative it is, and there is no way of avoiding or minimizing that, the entire gameplay is just drawing circles.
If you are wondering what happens at the end of the game, it just ends, there is no prestige, no sense of achievment, not even a steam achievment since you get all the steam achievements before completing the game.
If it gets updated in the future I think there is potential here, the visuals are fairely satisfying and the music is catchy, but I can't reccomend it in its current form, especially if you value your wrists.
Carpal Tunnel simulator. You literally never get the manual loop portion automated and you're quickly incentivized to make circles as fast as you can (no need early on to aim, just keep spinning your mouse in a large circle, then eventually in a small circle). Either way it's not good on the wrists.
Fun and colourful game, great music that never gets boring. The game also had interesting different upgrades that makes it worthwhile to continue playing to see what you're going to unlock next.
Patch 1: - Auto-draw option added for accessibility - CRT effect toggle added - Fullscreen toggle added - Adjusted colors in the skill tree to give clarity on what upgrades are purchasable - Upgrade descriptions now show up faster when hovering over them - KB, MB, GB, and TB upgrades now clarify in their description that they auto-convert for purchases when needed - All bytes move slightly slower - Moved high visibility line option from settings to skill tree menu - KB, MB, GB, and TB sizes reduced slightly - Thickened default draw line slightly
