Hi everyone! After the July 22 Demo update, we got some reports of broken character sizing. We’ve fixed these issues and added a new character editing tool. This build unifies character scaling rules, which may change how your saved characters look. Details below:Bug Fixes ——🍤1.Fixed inconsistent character sizingThis issue stemmed from the multi-monitor feature added in the previous build. Our original scaling rules were not fully standardized. After unifying these standards, differences in monitor PPI (Pixels Per Inch) cause inconsistent character sizes across displays:— 1080P screens: No noticeable changes— 1440P screens: Characters appear visibly smaller— 4K screens: Characters shrink to nearly half their original sizeWe tested characters on a wide range of monitors and implemented a balanced new baseline scale. We’ve also raised the maximum adjustable size limit for characters. After updating, your existing characters may shift in size — feel free to tweak their scale to your preferred visual comfort🎨2.Fixed offset bug when characters sit on windowsCaused by scaling errors, now fully fixed. Characters sit properly on program windows.📗3.Optimized window recognitionCharacters will no longer stick to desktop partition software like Windows Fences.New Features ——🌞1.Real-time mirror preview in character editorFlip your creation instantly to check facial symmetry for easier fine-tuning. We’ll keep polishing the game and can’t wait for the full launch!📊Wishlist UpdateWe’re a tiny three-person team handling both development and publishing, and this is our very first game, which will launch soon. Sadly, our wishlist numbers are far lower than we hoped for. We’ve only hit around 3,700 wishlists in total—two-thirds from players in China, with all other international players making up just the remaining third. We’re still a long way from the baseline number we need to keep our small studio afloat and continue rolling out post-launch updates. We’re determined to push harder on promotions to reach more players worldwide and improve our poor overseas exposure. However, we’ve encountered numerous obsta...
Hello everyone, we are the development team of NeeNee DesktopPals.June has been an extremely busy month for us. After launching the free Demo in February and finishing Demo updates & bug fixes from March to May, we have devoted the past two months fully to developing new content for the full release. We are creating extra character animations, expanding idle motions, building productivity tools, overhauling the UI, and working on the long-awaited two-character interaction animations requested by the community.Let’s take a look at our current progress. Full details can be found in our YouTube video:Starting with solo animations: We improved sitting poses, walking cycles and interaction responses. New motions include playful shouting, gift-giving and floating, alongside cute dog-like details such as sticking out tongues. The agree/disagree sign effects have also been upgraded for livelier expression. Brand-new states including sleeping, observing the desktop and waving from screen edges will arrive in the full version.Great care has been put into polishing animations. For the sleep state alone, we iterated three versions of blanket designs to achieve a softer look, alongside refined poke-wake interactions and unique moods. You can watch your pet enjoy sweet dreams or nightmares, or tease it by waking it up.Adorable two-character animations are in progress with ongoing logic optimization. Players can set exclusive pair relationships for their CP, freely swap left/right positions. Every interaction comes with a 3×3 set of animation variations, plus customizable props. The highly requested Pomodoro Timer and To-Do List are now under development. Three timing modes and four companion animations will be available, perfect for studying, drawing or gaming.A full UI revamp is underway: redrawn hand-drawn style icons and visual details. The original slim sidebar menu is replaced with a radial layout to fit more features. We hope you enjoy it!The Steam Demo remains completely fre...
