Little Lures is a fishing idle game where you place cabins and decorate lakeside environments while fishermen automatically gather resources below. The game requires just enough manual tweaking to stay engaging—positioning buildings and managing upgrades—rather than running entirely hands-off, giving it more depth than typical idle games. It's ideal for players seeking a low-pressure, atmospheric experience that rewards occasional attention without demanding constant focus.

Little Lures is one of those games that sneaks up on you.
I downloaded it thinking I'd glance at it while working… and suddenly I’m planning out my fishing cabins like I'm managing waterfront real estate in Stardew Valley. 😅
It’s a relaxing idle fishing sim where you place houses, decorate your little lakeside world, and unlock new upgrades as your little fishermen do their thing. The magic is that it just lives at the bottom of your screen - quietly leveling, catching fish, and surprising you with progress every time you look back.
No FOMO timers. No obnoxious cash shop. Just cozy pixel art, satisfying progression, and a really clever “second-screen” design that makes it perfect for work, gaming sessions, or those “I'll play something small” evenings… that turn a few hours.
If you like: - Chill idle games - Decorating little pixel worlds - Progress systems that feel rewarding - Cozy vibes on a second monitor while you grind IRL tasks - An active developer that receives feedback well
…this is one of the easiest recommends I’ve made in a while.
Little Lures is a lot of fun, ESPECIALLY for an idle game. What I really like is that the world doesn't completely run itself. It takes just enough poking and adjusting to keep things interesting without feeling like work. Everything about it is very cute, and the atmosphere is genuinely cozy in a cheerful kind of way. There are also multiple maps to choose from, so there's variety, too.
Favorite feature: the tourists that visit your island. They add this nice layer of life to the game. It's got this nice presence when it's running in the background, and I find myself enjoying just listening to the little world play out while I'm doing other things.https://store.steampowered.com/app/3900250/Little_Lures/#
Screenshots now work when pressing F12.It may take a few seconds for it to register the click. But I have uploaded one of my screen shots from the game and it is working as expected. https://steamcommunity.com/app/3900250/screenshots/ Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I don't often take screenshots of games so this flew completely under my radar!
Upgrading Nets or Fishing Spots\When clicking Upgrade on a net or fishing spot there was a chance for a bug to cause the game to crash.\Upgrade locations checks are less restrictive which allows more consistent object creation.
