Drugs and Gambling is a pinnacle of modern gaming. While the graphics may appear childish at first, they merely are that way to evoke a sense of whimsy into the harsh world that the game sets up. You are expected to have no mercy, give no ground, allow no tribute to anyone other than yourself. You, and your facility, exist only for one thing: Profit at any cost.
You must rig everything to survive. My first run ended when someone bet all their chips at the roulette table and won, taking all of my hardworked, illegally-earned money away instantly, and giving me a game over. The key to success is the slots, and drugs. By building as many slot machines as possible, you can guarantee a constant cashflow, and with that cash, you can purchase the facilities to make more and more drugs. I once kept a man in the casino, constantly supplying him endless beer. Even though he lost his children's college fund, his pension, and his children's trust and respect, he never had a better time, laying on that floor from critical alcohol poisoning. I believe his words of thanks were "wnbf god vwuifj huijwe". Truly a pioneer for the worthy. The worthy being me.
Your employees, too, are wholly disposable. Employees exist for 1 thing: To gather drugs and gather debts. They can gather drug ingredients which you smelt in the backrooms of the casino to refine for your "loyal" "customers", thereby boosting profits. Once your employees lose their respect for you, you break their legs and send everyone who still has their wits with them out to gather drugs. If they stop being useful entirely, a mere simple "disposal" solves the issue. Their deaths will be yet another sacrifice for the sake of my glorious empire.
In short, Drugs and Gambling is a cinematic masterpiece, deserving of the highest rewards.
TL/DR: Funny, cheap game with a surprising amount of gameplay for its price. Plus, you make a casino and break your employee's legs. Just buy it.
