Office of Interstellar Production tasks you with expanding across star systems, extracting resources, and manufacturing warship components to supply an endless naval demand. The sandbox resource-management loop centers on mining, refining materials into higher-quality goods, and automating production chains—though the current build is rough around the edges and will benefit from UI refinement. Best suited for players who enjoy systems-building and don't mind early-access roughness.

The game is almoast unplayably raw, but I just can't bring myself to leave a negative review for the fact it was so cheap. I have high hopes, but a mountain of work has to be done, until the game can live up to that potential. I'd recommend the develeper to set aside the storywriting and focus on polishing UI

Hotfix #5 Almost Stable Edition

13 SEPTEMBER 2025 BUGFIXES WE'RE ALMOST STABLE EDITION Unintended ability to build facilities in other systems using resources from a different system fixed. No more wormholes! Facility progress bar correctly resets when complete and without a new job pending Building upgrade button temporarily disabled :X Transferring resources properly removes entries from resource display if they are reduced to 0 Transfer window can be moved freely Transfer alert window can be moved freely Transfer window now defaults to current system for source Speed buttons give more accurate activation text Tech tree wasn't pulling the correct costs for research to match the UI. Now ships cost what it shows to unlock Upgrade cost pane now scrolls completely Ship donation bar no longer wants to send 100 ships no matter what. We get it, Navy, you need more. Currently overhauling the Build Facility pane to give much better information & restructuring Facility upgrade logic (Multiple branches, for specializations!), among other major quality of life and interface updates this weekend. Hotfixes for bugs will continue!

Launch Hotfix #4

Sorry all; I thought this was cleaner than it was. That's on me. All softlocks are gone. For real this time. There is a ! button in the System Focus view. Click it if I messed up and there's a softlock. Adjusted more scrollrect scrolling Facilities now show progress % number for building, and cycles Sarutahiko has learned how to give you space. He's friendly, but sometimes overbearing. (He will only speak on a new game) Production rate properly reflects on Sol after initial facility instantiations Cleaned up some issues with the tech tree not displaying techs were researched (even when they were) Cleaned up some other unwanted behaviors on saves Sol facilities now are instantly built Adjusted some of the logic in the transfer panel to be less clunky Quite a few more, honestly I was not keeping track Should be...95% stable. 100% stable? This many launch hotfixes means that I count as a AAA dev now, I'm pretty sure

Launch Hotfix #3

Good evening Administrators; Bringing you a patch to counter your woes! BUGFIXES Save/Load. A UI scaling issue caused the Load panel to vanish sometimes. That no longer happens. Further, saving was unstable, as was loading a save, this has been corrected. As far as testing goes, saving seems solid, as does loading. Stress testing on two machines makes me cautiously optimistic. The System Focus window now defaults to Pharosphex on load, so there should never be a blank System Focus window. Text scroll areas now properly reset when switching solar systems Scroll sensitivity in the aforementioned scroll areas greatly increased Facilities now properly remain deactivated between saving and loading, and the button indicator remains across solar system selection You can now no longer softlock yourself with incorrect buys. My bad. GAMEPLAY/QOL CHANGES Resource requirements rebalanced (again). Taskbar buttons now open AND close windows. Muscle memory is saved. Free tokens are removed. In their place, you now get a few free mining facilities in Sol. It's more narratively consistent, anyway. Influence icon added to starship research nodes. No more guessing that that number means! Resource transfers now pop up a simplified window to let you know that it was successful. Even less guessing! Parallax background for the Spur map. It looks neat. Discord invite button on the main menu. Come say hi! Be back again soon with more updates/patches/etc. Roadmap tomorrow!
