About This Game

More Sushi! is a short incremental game about running a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Serve customers, buy upgrades, hire helpers, and unlock new sushi! Pay off the owner's debt, then turn used plates into stars to buy permanent upgrades.

I often complain that idle/clicker games do pacing wrong by being too slow. This one is somehow too fast, which limits satisfaction from progression. You can hit all upgrades relatively quickly (we're talking 10 minutes), and by then you're supposed to prestige already, and that's how you unlock new ones. This is a good idea - prestige is supposed to unlock new ways to play the game - but because there is no apparent goal, no upgrade that you saw but couldn't get because of its exorbitant price, it feels pointless. All the classics such as Cookie Clicker and (the) Gnorp Apologue show you the dangling carrot in front of you, which motivates you to prestige; here, prestiging is both the carrot and the way to reach it. Really took the wind of out my sails. Otherwise the game is quite competent. The art style is lovely, the silly and simple premise are nice, and there's the gawd- dayumn autoclick, thank the everloving f*ck. Maybe I didn't like it because the window of average attention span moved so much towards zero that I no longer fit in there? So, if you read this entire review you might have the same problem. Idk man, the game's cheap. You be the judge.

Short, but VERY satisfying game to 100% achievements

This game is very short, as you can see by my playtime, I actually managed to finish it within an hour, which I can say is oddly disappointing, as it really didn't go on for much longer then the demo, however, that's truly my only downside to the game. It's silly, it's got a nice little loop to it, and it's fun, got really all you could ask for in a short idle clicker. Outright no harm in giving it a try, I, at least, found it enjoyable.
