Agrivore tasks you with harvesting crops to feed an increasingly demanding King while assembling magical gear and skill tree combos for damage multipliers. The prestige loop is quick and streamlined, though the core loop of finding one effective build and repeating it until the next farm unlock may feel repetitive for players seeking varied strategies.

Not much variety in gameplay. When you find a build that works you keep playing it over and over again till you can unlock next farm, which again is the same build over and over again.
Sorry, not a game for me.

Agrivore: Incremental Farming is a satisfying incremental game in which you harvest crops to feed the gluttonous King. You start with one simple crop, one weapon, and one skill. However, you can unlock a bunch more, and those will allow some crazy combos that just feel good. Very early on, I loved the Garlic crop, as it allows you to spawn bats that circle around you and do damage to crops. Later on, I loved the mushrooms as they let you start each round with gold crops, which was very nice in combination with the bow or the laser beams' special ability.

Your starting farm has only the option for one crop, one weapon, and one skill, but later farms allow for more crops and more skills, so you can make even crazier combos! Your meta progress comes from unlocking the skill tree in the current run, and the amount of red diamonds you get is also determined by which farm you are playing. However, on the later farms, you can select more crops, which will make the skill tree bigger, but if you just want to quickly grind meta progression, it might even be better to not go for the extra crops as you still get the maximum amount of red diamonds when completing the skill tree, but this way the skill tree is not so big.

Another thing to keep in mind is which skill you choose first, as that will determine which skill you will unlock first in the skill tree of that run. Just a small thing, but it can have a big impact on how smoothly the start goes.

The only thing I struggled with was finding the skills in the skill tree that aren't fully unlocked yet. It became a bit of a "Where is Wally/Waldo?" game from time to time. The completed skills have a green border at this moment; the incomplete ones are grey/white and have a + symbol in their picture. This is quite hard to find in a sea of bright colors. However, I know the developer is looking into this after I told him my struggles with sometimes finding that one skill I hadn't fully upgraded.

Agrivore: Incremental Farming has no missable achievements and can be completed in around 4 hours.

I give Agrivore: Incremental Farming 4 out of 5 stars.

Not very interesting, you can quickly put together a great build from only the first farm (mushroom + bow + sunburn), and then it's a matter of doing the same thing over and over and over. I was prestiging every 3 minutes no problem. I think the prestige system is poorly designed.

Agrivore v1.1.0 - King's Mood Update!

Hey villagers! 🌽👑 We just released the King's Mood Update for Agrivore! This patch adds a brand new system designed to shake up your runs and encourage more varied builds instead of repeating the same strategy every time. New Feature • Added King's Mood system The King now reacts to your choices during a run. If you focus too heavily on a certain crop or strategy, the King may suddenly change his tastes. Maybe mushrooms become less desirable. Maybe your favorite strategy gets taxed into oblivion. Adapt, survive, and keep the kingdom fed. Changes & Fixes • Fixed Space key spam bug • Fixed visibility issues for "Buy Cheapest Node" • Added "Buy Max Amount" option to node purchases • Fixed Potato Generator not zapping sometimes • Rebalanced crop value nodes This update is also part of our ongoing effort to make runs feel more dynamic and reduce repetitive build paths. Thank you for all the feedback and balancing discussions lately. We read a lot more than you think 👀 If you enjoy Agrivore, leaving a Steam review really helps us continue improving the game! 🌱 https://store.steampowered.com/app/4045540/Agrivore/

Agrivore is Out Now with 40% Release Discount! 🌽👑

It’s time to feed the King! Agrivore: Incremental Farming is officially out now on Steam. To celebrate the launch, the game is available with a 40% discount for a limited time! 🎉 Start harvesting, build your perfect farming setup, and create wild combos as you grow stronger with every run. verty did an amazing job bringing Agrivore to life. As a solo developer, they packed the game with a surprising amount of content and depth, and it really shows throughout the experience. Additionally, special thank you to Rogue Duck's playtest team! They kept playing the new patches and gave great feedback. I'm happy to say the game is battle tested before the release. What to Expect 🌾 Satisfying idle and active harvesting gameplay ⚔️ Equip magical farming gear and experiment with builds 🌳 Skill tree progression with powerful upgrades 🔁 Combo-driven gameplay that evolves every run ⏱️ Around 4–6 hours of content to explore and master https://shared.akamai.steamstatic.com/store_item_assets/steam/apps/4045540/866f4d52aa098fcca08d4dce8bea80282c9ee1ef/ss_866f4d52aa098fcca08d4dce8bea80282c9ee1ef.1920x1080.jpg?t=1777284516 Whether you want to relax and harvest at your own pace or chase powerful builds, Agrivore offers a smooth and rewarding loop from start to finish. Why 40% Off on Release? 🤔 We sometimes get questions about launching with a 40% discount, especially when the game already has strong wishlist support. The short answer: we want more people to actually play the game on day one. We’ve seen that many players prefer to wait for deeper discounts before jumping in. Instead of starting at 10% and slowly climbing to 20%, 30%, and eventually 40% over the next few months… we decided to skip that waiting period entirely. So we launched straight at 40% off. We’ll also keep future discount cycles at 40% until the end of the year. If you want to play, you can just jump in whenever it feels right for you. At the end of the day, we’d rather see more players enjoying the game early than si...
