Everfall: Idle Dungeon RPG

Initially I gave the game a good review, but unfortunately this game has moved backwards from the DEMO. Everytime the game closes you lose your save. The leader board is full of hackers. Its a shame, because the game play loop is fun for an idle, but this dev is unfortunately in over their head, and while enthusiastic to help, lacks the coding chops to achieve their timeline. They should not be pushing patchs to liveserver that wipe all progress without notifying the playerbase. And the issue the patch was meant to fix, didnt even resolve.. hence the corrupted save files everytime you log in. Dev should probably just remove the leaderboard, make it an offline game, and let us host our own save files, game would legit be much better.

You can alt+enter to put it in a window with no minimize or close buttons. It doesn't run if it isn't on screen. Which is super bad for an idle game. If the game is minimized it still doesn't give progress. So much for an idle game huh? When you quit some settings are not remembered. Like popups. My Keystones and Runes are broken still. I played for 3 hours, closed the game, and went to sleep. When I woke up, the game hadn't saved my progress. This is the most basic thing in the world for a developer to pay attention to. Shameful. Refund for now, maybe I'll give it another chance later.
