Dave's Wrecking Yard 3D casts you as a 90s auto shop owner filling customer orders for parts and managing an engine rebuild operation at your own pace. The game emphasizes relaxation and light management over challenge, though its current scope is modest and the grid-based movement feels cumbersome to some players. It's best suited for those seeking low-pressure business simulation with nostalgic atmosphere.
About this game
It's the late 1990s all over again and you find yourself the owner of Dave's Wrecking Yard. Earn cash by filling various parts orders by phone, internet, & walk-in customers. New engine rebuilding shop will keep you busy, but enjoy working at your own pace while ordering pizzas and chugging sodas.

You move one square at a time, the aiming is guided by holding right click and dragging, and if that wasn't all, there are no cigarettes in this dave simulator. Disappointed mostly.
At the moment, the game is very bare bones, but the little i played was very fun and relaxing. Within a few minutes i wanted to recommend it to family and friends, but i very quickly ran out of things to do. I've added this game to a special category in my library to remind me to come back and check in occasionally, and ive bought your detective game to give that one a try. Keep up the great work and i hope this game takes off :) I'm looking forward to seeing more.
PS the controls are a little clunky using the mouse to look, but as soon as i saw that you can turn with the Q and E keys, it was much easier to play, perhaps mention it on startup instead of it being on the help page, as another reviewer gave you a bad review about the controls and seemed not to have realised that the controls were listed in a menu.

This update addresses some bug fixes as well as making adjustments to event timing and animations.I've added "Icons" in the bottom right corner to remind you if you already have a shipment pending or if pizza delivery is on the way. A new feature was added that requires using rebuild kits for carburetors and engines during assembly.Parts can be purchased from the Parts Store website on any computer and is automatically shipped after payment. The parts package will be delivered & left in front of the building where you will grab and bring to the parts cabinet. The parts are stored in a storage cabinet in the back office and are automatically deducted during carburetor & engine assembly.
