Echo Factory challenges you to restore sound to a silent universe through an idle game that blends passive automation with active engagement. Build machines to generate echoes and unlock frequencies while the dynamic music system evolves alongside your progress, creating a rewarding feedback loop between incremental growth and interactive play. The neon-drenched cyberpunk aesthetic and smooth UI make it compelling for both idle game veterans and those seeking more mechanical depth than typical clickers.

A surprisingly intense game. Lots of improvements since the demo at Next Fest. A large variety of music to listen to. A lot more interesting mechanics that has the game bounce between an idle (watch numbers go up) to an active gameplay system.

Worth taking a look!

Great cyberpunk vibes and super addictive!
Pros:
The dynamic music system is amazing, the tracks evolving as you play makes it feel so rewarding
The diagnostics panel keeps you engaged the whole time
Visuals and the UI is really smooth
Keyboard support is a lifesaver

Really solid incremental game. Haven’t even reached the late game yet, but for this price, it’s easily a 10/10.

Update 1.0.1 - Community Feedback & Balancing

Hello Architects!Thank you for the incredible response during the first 24 hours of Echo Factory. We’ve been listening closely to your feedback and have just pushed a hotfix to address several balance issues and bugs reported by the community.🛠 Balancing & ImprovementsDiagnostics "Grace Period": Based on your feedback, Bad Sectors will no longer spawn immediately after a Prestige or at the start of the game. They will now only appear once your factory reaches a certain production threshold (EPS). This ensures a much smoother rebuilding process.Overclock Buff: The Overclock duration has been increased to 20 seconds. We want this high-risk maneuver to feel significantly more rewarding.Anomaly Spawn Rate: Increased the spawn frequency of "Anomalies" (the yellow crystals). Active players will now see these rewards much more often.🔈 Bug FixesMusic Volume Jumpscare: Fixed a critical bug where unlocking a new music layer would ignore your volume settings and play at 100%. Music transitions will now strictly follow your saved volume preferences.Achievement Sync: Optimized the detection for high-value Echo achievements (Trillion+) to ensure they trigger as soon as the milestone is reached.🚀 What's Next?We are already working on Update 1.1, which will expand the Frequency Tree with more nodes, add new machines, and provide more depth to the late-game experience.Thank you for helping us make Echo Factory better!-- MGR Studio

Update v0.2.1: The "Grind" is Gone. Let the Neon Flow.

Hello Factory Architects,Following the recent visual overhaul, I’ve been closely monitoring your feedback regarding the game's pacing. A common point raised was that upgrades felt too repetitive and became unreasonably expensive in the mid-to-late game, making the progression feel unrewarding.I completely agree. An incremental game should feel like a power trip, not a chore.Today's hotfix addresses the math behind the upgrade system to ensure a satisfying loop from start to finish.⚖️ Balance Changes:Smoother Cost Curves: I have completely reworked the exponential math for upgrade costs. The "walls" you hit at Level 10+ have been demolished. Mid-game and late-game upgrades are now significantly more affordable.Impactful Upgrades: Upgrades now scale better with your factory's growth. Every purchase should now feel like a noticeable boost to your production, rather than a tiny drop in the ocean.Reduced Grind: The time gap between unlocking new tiers of upgrades has been shortened to keep the momentum going. This update is all about respect for your time. Jump back in and feel the difference! As always, thank you for the honest feedback. It helps shape the game.Happy expanding!

Update v0.2[Demo]: Visual Overhaul, Balance & Polish

Hello Factory Architects,Based on the feedback from the initial demo release, I have deployed a significant update to improve the overall game feel, balance, and visual clarity. Here are the patch notes for version 0.2:🎨 Visual Overhaul & SafetyThe factory visual system has been completely reworked to be cleaner and safer for long play sessions.Dynamic Tier Colors: Each machine tier now has a distinct neon color (Blue, Purple, Green, etc.) to improve visual hierarchy and feedback.Visual Pulse Limiter: The visual animation speed is now decoupled from the mathematical production rate. The pulsing effect is capped at a consistent, soothing rhythm to prevent visual clutter and eye strain.Photosensitivity Warning: Added a warning screen on startup.Soft Edges: Echo waves now have smoother edges for a cleaner aesthetic.⚖️ Balance AdjustmentsProgression Smoothing: Adjusted cost scaling for mid-game upgrades to ensure a smoother difficulty curve.✨ UI & PolishPassive Income Indicator: Added a clean "+EPS" indicator under the main counter that reacts dynamically to production changes, replacing floating text for automated income to reduce screen clutter.Quick Exit: Removed the confirmation popup when quitting the game for a faster exit experience.📅 What's Next?I'm continuing to work on expanding the Frequency Tree and refining the Prestige mechanics for the full release. Please restart your Steam client to ensure you have the latest update installed.Start the simulation. Let the neon flow.
